So Happy Together Layout

Hi! Sometimes, mixing products from different collections can be scary, but with the collections from Bella Blvd, it is easy since many of them share a similar color palette. For this layout, I used a cut-out title from Bow Wow, and the other products are from the Documented collection. It was fun mixing them and using a cut-out from a dog collection to document this photo of my family.

I love using white cardstock as my background and adding a border around it for a more aesthetic look. This time, I cut a frame from the patterned paper with the colorful diagonal lines. Then, on top, I added a frame of the clear-cut specialty paper, which had black diagonal lines. By joining them together, I created a new design that includes black to help me balance the layout and make it more cohesive.

On top of the frames, I added a white cardstock with a stitched border. I like to use white as my background, especially when I'm using a mix of bright colors. To minimize the whiteness in the layout, I added a bit of Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina diluted in water and some black paint splatters near the cluster areas.

After adding the different patterned papers and matting my photo, I added the cut-out title.

The original cut-out had the "so happy" in solid white, attached to the "together" part. I removed the white letters and used the "together" only, backed with a black polka dot paper. Then, I added foam tape behind it for dimension and added it to the layout.

To complete the title, I used the Bella Besties Luna Puffy Alphabet in red for the "SO" and the die cut "Happy" from the Documented Ephemera Words pack. I anchored them to the layout using a flower paper strip and other die cuts from the Ephemera Icons pack.

At the end, I added a few hearts and flowers, mixing products from the chipboards, epoxy stickers, cardstock stickers and puffy stickers.
