Sister's Love Layout

Hi!

A few weeks ago I saw pictures of the Wild Love Collection by Photoplay and fall in love with it.  I love all the details in the collection, especially the cute animals, they are so nice that I bought it as soon as it was released and made this layout of my daughters.  I have a lot of pictures of them they are my inspiration and I want to capture and preserve all those beautiful moments they share as sisters so in the future they can look at them and always remember how strong and pure is their love is.

Stay Magical Layout

Hi!

It's been a long time since my last post, we had a last minute vacation trip to Florida to enjoy some time with family and to visit a few amusement parks, then we came back to celebrate Christmas and today is the last day of 2018 and I can't finish it without posting here so I decided to make this post to wish you a wonderful New Year 2019.  Hope it is full of blessings, love and great moments.

Also, I want to share with you a layout I recently made using the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Stay Colorful Collection.  I used a 12" x 12" paper for the background and the other papers were from the 6" x 6" paper pad.  To embellish the layout I used some stickers and die cuts from the collection.  Finally I do some stitching and added some paint.

Merry Christmas Trifold Mini Album

Hello!

Today I'm sharing with you a mini album I made using Frances Long Trifold Mini Tutorial.  You can find this and other amazing tutorials on her You Tube Channel, Your Book of Memories.

Since I always love to add a lot of photos and use white cardstock to mat them, I increased the spine size to 1 3/4".  This album holds 50 photos, some of them have white cardstock on the back for the journaling.  The papers and embellishments are from Photo Play Here Comes Santa collection, I love the colors and designs on the papers.  Since I still have some scraps, I'll be working on some layouts and maybe some cards, let's see what comes out of them.

At the end of the post is a flip through video of the mini album, so you can see how cute it turns out.

Harry Potter Mini Album

Hello!

Today I'm sharing the Harry Potter mini album I made for my daughter.  She is a huge fan of everything Harry Potter, so in May we decided to visit Universal Studios Florida to surprise her in her 13th birthday.  It was amazing, she was so thrilled and happy!  Also, my sisters who lives in Florida organized a Harry Potter birthday party for her.  You can see the complete album in the next video.

You Are Something Magical Layout

Hello!

Today I'm sharing with you a layout I made for my baby girl, she is always playing and having a great time and those photos inspired me to create this page using the beautiful collection Dream Big by Simple Stories and to make it faster I used a sketch from Page Maps October 2018.  As you can see in the photos she have a great personality; many times she choose what to wear, she is so unique, I love her!

Mini Mermaid Layout

Hi!

Today I'm sharing with you a layout I made using the gorgeous collection Imagine That! from Echo Park.  The colors in this collection are amazing and the designs are irresistible, love it!  This collection is perfect for all kind of photos.  I'm using the girly version of the collection and in this layout I'm showcasing two photos of my baby, they are not the best quality since I used the phone to photograph her while she was runing and playing, and she is very fast.

Last May we went on vacation and visited Epcot, there I showed her some princesses dresses and she choose the mermaid one.  After we returned home, sometimes she ask for her dress, she love to wear it.  When I dress her with the mermaid dress, she always goes to the mirror and says "wow, how pretty; wow, how beautiful".  She is so cute, that's the reason I did the layout no matter the photos are not the best quality, I needed to capture those memories before they are gone.

Can't Stop Won't Stop Layout

Hello!

Doing masculine layouts is very hard for me.  I really enjoy the girly scrapbook products, colors and designs, they inspire me faster and without many toughts.  But here is a masculine page I did for my husband.

The papers and embelishments are from the Wild Child Collection from American Crafts.  Also, I made some machine stitching and added some paint splashes.  The chipboard letter from the title are very old, they are from Basic Grey, sadly they no longer sell scrapbook products and the sticker fonts are very old too but they are from Echo Park Paper.

Good Times Layout

Hello!
It's been a long time since my last post, I'm really sorry for not updating it but I was pretty busy organizing my baby's birthday party since last year we had to cancel it due to Hurricanes Irma and Maria.  Finally on Saturday we had the celebration and she enjoyed it so much, it was worth all the efforts and preparations I made.

Now back to the layout.  This page was made a few weeks ago but I had it in my desk waiting to take photos of it so I can share it with you.  Papersand embellishments are from American Crafts Wild Child Collection.  I used this collection because it have many nice designs like the guitars that works perfectly with the photos of my daughter playing Guitar Hero.  During the summer she fracture her hand and had some limitations doing many of the things she enjoy like playing video games and going outside to run bicycle, scooter or skateboard but she discoverd she can play the video game guitar so she spent a lot of time playing it and having fun while enjoying nice music.

Be Mine Layout

Hello!

Today I'm sharing with you a layout I made yesterday with the Romance Collection from Simple Stories, I was almost done with this collection but a few more paper sheets and embellishments came in the Warehouse Box Sale by Simple Stories.  I ordered the box for the first time this year and it was worth every penny, lots of great products.  Ok, back to the layout, the photo was taken by my daughter, she wanted us to kiss and this was the result.

Smile Layout

Hi!

Today I made this layout for my baby girl, we are in love with her smile and how funny she is and since these papers from Simple Stories Bliss Collection were still in my desk, I used them to create this layout and preserve these beautiful photos.

Bliss Layout

Hello!

A few weeks ago I made this layout but many things happened and I don't had the time to share it, today I finally got the time to photograph and share it.  For this layout I used Simple Stories Bliss Collection.  The embellishments are from the same collection, I used the chipboards, 12" x 12" sticker sheet and the die cuts.  Also I added some stitching, pearls and used a Page Maps August 2018 sketch.

Love You to the Moon and Back Layout

Hola!

I made this layout on July but haven't posted it in my blog.  The balloon file is from Paige Evans, I purchased it on the Silhouette store.  The patterned papers are also from Paige Evans for Pink Paislee Pick Me Up Collection.  I bought the paper pad of this collecion and some of them have gold foil details, making them look more delicate and beautiful.

I hand cut the clouds using a paper from Prima Heaven Sent II Collection.  Also, used some chipboards from Crate Paper Little You, a little bit of paints in pink and gold, some pearls and stitching to add more dimension to the layout.  I love the final result.

Botas Layout

Hi

My little daughter loves to use boots. This is the reason why I bought the Echo Park Hello Spring Collection immediately after seeing it, the details and colors of this collection are amazing!  Also the boots file is from Paige Evans on the Silhouette store.  For me that was the perfect combination to create a page about my baby and her pink glitter boots.

As you can see in the photos, she uses them inside the house because for her the boots mean going outside since I always dress her with boots to play in the backyard.  Right now she have 5 or 6 pairs of boots in different colors and styles but it looks like these glitter pink are her favorites, she used to called them "Las Bá".  Now she is 22 months old and is more fluent talking and called them properly in spanish "las botas" as in the title.

Smile Layout

Hi!

I'm trying to scrapbook this week, so I'm spending every "free" time doing layouts and this is the second one I finished this week.  I love this photo of my daughter, she is growing and changing into a teenager so fast that I chose this photo of her and used some Simple Stories Welcome Spring papers.  Since this is a collection with only three papers, I created the embellishments by fuzzy cutting the flowers, frame and journaling card and adhered some of them with foam adhesive to add dimension to the page.  Also, I did some stitching and finished the page with the rhinestones to give it some sparkle. The title was made with the Cricut and I added three layers of cardstock for dimension.

Adorable Layout

Hi!

This layout was made using the Echo Park I Love Sunshine Collection, which I bought on Tuesday Morning and when I got home find out I already had it. This has nothing to do with my memory it is just a confirmation of my taste for pretty girly papers, lol.

To embellish the layout I used some old Bo Bunny Petal Pushers chipboards, and some American Crafts Adorable Puffy Tickers and some rhinestones I had in my stash.

Cool Guy Layout

Hi!

A few years ago I made a mini album for my husband using the Boy Oh Boy Collection from Carta Bella and still had some scraps so I decided to used them, but also I wanted to use embellishments I already had to create a layout.  My goal was to create something fast and enjoy the process and this is what I did while making this Cool dude Layout with photos of my nephew. It is a simple layout and I finished it very fast but I had fun using old stuff I had in my stash and preserving these lovely photos of him.

Thanks for your visit, I hope you get inspired to create something.

Motherhood Mini Album

Hi!

Recently I found on You Tube a channel named Your Book of Memories of a very nice and talented girl named Frances Long and one of her tutorials (Animal Style Folio) captured my attention so I made a mini album using it.  That mini album was a last moment gift I made for my mom on her birthday using photos from all her daughter, grandchildren and some of her parents.  I was in such a hurry that I forgot to take pictures of it but the album was so easy that I made three more.  Now I'm sharing with you the Motherhood Mini I made using Simple Stories Love & Adore paper pad.  It will hold photos of me and my daughters.

Here are some pictures of the album:

I Heart You Layout

Hi!

Today I finished this layout that was almost ready since March or April, I can't remember, it was only waiting for the title and some adhesive, today I found it and finish it, yeah!!!!

Ok, getting back on the layout, I used a sketch from Page Maps March 2018.

2018 Vacation Shirts

Hi!

Hope you are all doing great!  First I want to apologize for not blogging in a long time, I was very busy preparing everything for our vacations since it was something my husband and I decided on last minute and I had short time to plan.  I left all my projects on pause until we return, but the truth is its been one week since we came back and they are still in pause while I finish other things I'll be sharing with you soon, like my daughter's Harry Potter mini album.

Talking about my teen daughter, she is a Harry Potter fan and since she turned 13 on May we gave her the surprise of going to Universal Studios as her birthday gift, she was so excited, I took a lot of photos for an album I made for her and can't wait to print them and finish it.

As part of the preparation, I made some shirts using Siser Heat Transfer, it is so awesome and the glitter one is beautiful.  Here are the shirts I made:

Old Layouts 9

Hi!

Again with some oldies.  This layouts were made a few years ago, I had them in the box of unfinished layouts but this week I took them out and added some photos and journalilng, I still love their colors and how they look so no changes were made.

 Papers are Bella Blvd

Old Layouts 8

Hello!

This is a quick post to share with you some old Christmas Layouts I finished last week.  I had them ready in the box of unfinished layouts, waiting for photos so I added some 2016 photos I already have.

Papers in this layout are Basic Grey, sadly they no longer make scrapbook products.

Hello Love Layout

Hello!

Hope you have had a beautiful Easter.  I had a great week with my family and spent some time organizing my stamps, which is taking more time than expected, I still need to organize like a 25% of my stamps.  This is a little boring but I discovered a lot of stamps I didn't remember I have and many of them are still new so hopefully soon I can use them, let's see.

Always and Forever Layout

Hi!

I can't believe I'm posting again this week!!  The second layout I created last week with Simple Stories Romance Collection and another Page Maps March 2018 sketch, I love them!

XOXO Layout

Hi!

I'm back soon, yeahhh!!!  It was a productive week, I made two new layouts, create a paper punches catalog so I know what I have and started to organize my stamps.  Also, I finish the six oldies shown in the previous two posts.  This layout I'm sharing now was made with the Simple Stories Romance Collection, I love this collection is really beautiful but the reason I made so many layouts with it is because I want to finish it, I don't want to store it, my paper storage space is full so I must finish the collections.  I'm almost done with it, I think two or three more layouts and it is dead!!!

Old Layout 7

Hello!

In this post I'll be showing the last three oldies I completed this week.  As I told you in my previous post, they are very old, I had them finish and waiting for photos for a few years, now I'm trying to take some time every week to finish a few of them since I have hundreds of layout in the same situation.

Together! Layout

This layout was made with papers from Crate Paper, I can't remember the name of the collection.  The tittle, border and cream flowers were cut with the Cricut, the rolled flowers with the Silhouette and the leaves are from a Sizzix die.  Photos are from 2016.

Old Layouts 6

Hi!

Yesterday I had some time available and used it to add photos to six of the old layouts I have waiting for photos.  This one was made a few years ago with one of Simple Stories' firsts collection. I still consider this collection very cute, the papers have a lot of beautiful designs one can fuzzy cut to use as embellishments and the colors are very happy.  I just added photos to finish it, the photos are from a road trip to Bosque Seco in Guánica, Puerto Rico.  This place is really peaceful and beautiful.

Oh, Happy Day Layout

Hugs & Kisses Layout

Hello!

Yesterday I finished a layout I made with the Simple Stories Romance Collection and a Page Maps March 2018 sketch, as I told you I'll be working with this collection until I finish it but I don't know if can fulfill this challenge because I'm getting tired of the same colors, let's see what happens.  I still have a few more papers of this collection so I'll be working on a double layout soon and then, maybe I change to another collection.

Old Layouts 5

Hello!

Hope you are doing great!  Today I'm sharing with you three old layouts I had from a few years ago without photos and since I ordered a lot of prints from 2016 I used some of them to finish these layouts.  I can't remember who made the cutting files, sorry.  They are really pretty and I love how nice they look.

Noviembre 2016 Layout
This layout was designed by my friend Yamil Pérez, she did an amazing work with those Basic Grey papers, cutting all the flowers and arranging them.  I made a few changes now but they were minor, I added the rhinestones, a few more flowers and the chipboard flourish.

XOXO Layout

Hi!

Today I’m sharing with you a layout I just finished using a sketch from Page Maps March 2016 and the Simple Stories Romance Collection.  The photos were taken 6 days before our baby girl arrived, I was 38 weeks pregnant. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the shooting time at Jobos Beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico.  The photographer was my husband’s friend, Christian Rivera.

Old Layouts 4

Hi!

Continuing with the old layouts, here are a few more I completed.  Below each one is a short description of the changes I made to them.

Sweetest Love Layout
This layout suffer some modifications.  The background papers, some Glimmer Mist paint, the paper behind the photos and tittle were all added to pair with the photos and makes it look more up to date.

Old Layouts 3

Hello!

Now some layouts I completed last week, as I told you before, they are old, only photos were needed but since they look old I made some minor changes to most of them.  Soon I'll be sharing a few more, I still have some Christmas layouts waiting for photos and I want to empty the basket where they are stored but first I'll be working again with the Simple Stories Romance Collection, I need to finish this collection to start working with another one.

Baby Girl Layout
Originally this was a baby boy layout, to make it look girly a changed the background paper, tittle, stickers, buttons, mats...  well, it's easiest to tell only the patterned paper pieces (excluding the background) remain from the original.

Old Layouts 2

Hello!

As in my last post, last week I was adding photos to many old layouts I have, so continuing with them here are five more:

Happy Holidays Layout
Only photos were added to this layout, I love how cute it looks with the photos.

Old Layouts 1

Hi!

After moving to our home and organizing my scrapbook stuff I found a lot of layouts, more than a 100, without photos.  This is something I need to finish because there is a lot of time and money spent so I must complete those layouts.  Last week I took some time to start working with them, adding photos that pair and the journaling to a few of them.  They are very old, some are from 2009 so I made a few changes to make them look a little more up to date but since I have so many I can't spend too much time in each one, the changes are minor so I can complete the largest amount in the time I have available.

As I told you, they are so old that I can't remember where I bought the cutting files for some of the paper piecing, neither I remember the name of all the company who made the products, sadly some of them are no longer in the market.  My goal is to complete at least one per week and post it, I know finishing all of them will take a lot of time but I'll be doing it while creating new ones.

Here are the first five I finished last week.

Reyes Layout
(Three Kings Layout)
In Puerto Rico we celebrate Three Kings Day in January 6. It is part of our culture so every year we take photos of this celebration, which is a beautiful activity we share with our daughters.

You Are Loved Layout

Hi!

Last weekend I was able to sit down for a while, so I continued working with the Simple Stories Romance Collection because I already had them on my desk and I challenged myself to use the collections as much as possible to finish them and thus not have to re-store them because my paper storage space is practically full.  Let's see if I succeed in this goal.

When I ordered the Romance Collection, I did it several weeks after its release and it has been so popular that where I bought it the embellishments were sold out, only the 12" x 12" stickers and the sticker book which are quite small were available.  But since the papers are so beautiful, I ordered two of each sheet.  Something I like about the Simple Stories papers is that they bring beautiful designs in various sizes that allow one to cut and use them to embellish and that's what I did. Since I don't have much free time, first I cut out all I can from the papers.  For this layout I used some of the cut outs and still have a lot of them to create more projects soon.

For this layout I used a photo of a week before our baby was born, she is a very loved and desired child by us, it is a blessing for our family and a prayer answered by God, we are very happy to have her with us.  Now I have to make many layouts with all the photos we have take and also continue making layouts for our big daughter because I love taking pictures of both of them, they are my inspiration and life engine.

Sweet Layout

Hello!

Recently I bought the Simple Stories Romance Collection and it is so beautiful.  I  loved all the papers, colors, and designs, so I quickly grabbed a few papers, found two photos of my baby, and began to cut flowers and designs from the papers to create this layout.

Behind the photo there is a tag that says "Adore," which can be removed to reveal the journaling. Being able to create these pages fills me with happiness, this is definitely the hobby that I most enjoy and am most passionate, it has been so long since I last created layouts from my inspiration so I am still warming up, but little by little I am reincorporating myself to the world of scrapbook and soon I'll be updated with all the new things in the hobby.

Love Cards

Hola!

I was making some layouts from a class and was left with scraps that were too few to store and too beautiful to discard them, so I challenged myself to create some cards with them using the smallest amount of additional material possible, and that they were simple in order to finish them quickly while the baby slept.

Although they were simple, there are no flowers, ribbons, stamps, or other things, I like them because they look very delicate and pretty, besides the fact that I accomplished my challenge and used the scraps. Patterned papers are from Authentique, cardstock from Bazzil Basicsand the paper punch is from Martha Stewart. I hope you like them!

I'm back!

Hello!

I'm very happy to begin once again the adventure of having a blog, it has been a few years since I stopped doing it, but I already miss creating layouts, cards, and projects with paper and sharing them with you. I hope to be able to update the blog at least twice a month since my days are occupied by my family and the home routines, but I'm obligating myself to find some time for me and my hobbies, because that fills me with happiness and allows me to use the materials I have and, in turn, making space for the ones that keep coming out and one can't resist buying, hahaha.

It seems to me that there are a lot of us who suffer from this space problem since, for some reason, it's faster to buy and store than the speed at which we can use the materials and products, but never mind, the important thing is to enjoy life and feed our passion to create and meet more people through art.

I hope you will join me during this trip and enjoy the adventure of creating with paper while leaving our memories captured for future generations.

See you soon!
