It's been a long time since I made a double spread layout but these Christmas photos required one. Every Christmas eve, we do a photo shoot of the girls leaving cookies and milk for Santa and then we prepare the tripod and camera to photograph us in front of the tree. This is a fun tradition because using the timer of the camera and having four people ready is not always easy, but it captures us, as we are and this is great!

After a few days away from posting my work, I'm back with a beautiful layout using mixed media and the newest Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection "These Days". This collection is gorgeous and has many embellishments, making it hard to decide what to use. I love their products, the colors are always beautiful and the designs are stunning, perfect for almost all themes and projects. This is my first layout with this collection, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I invite you to stay with me and get comfortable while I tell you how I made this layout. How are you? Hope you are healthy and having a great day! I'm happy to start this week sharing with you my version of sketch 17 of Allison Davis' class. The class is coming to the end next week when she will present sketch 20. At this moment I'm two sketches behind, hopefully for next week I'll be finishing them all. Last week was a little busy for me, planning my toddler's birthday party and doing virtual classes with her, but now I have a little more time to craft, so hopefully I can finish the class on time. As mentioned before, I can't share with you the original sketch since this is a paid class, but here is my version of it and I will tell you how I made it, so stay with me during this post to learn all the details.

I'm back this week for the second time with a layout using sketch #16 from Allison Davis' class. Now I'm up to date since the class is in week #17, and I only need to work with this week's sketch before Monday. This class is almost over, it consists of twenty sketches, one per week, using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layouts. I can't share with you the original sketches because this is a paid class, but I can share my interpretation of them with you. So, stay with me while I explain how I made this one.
