Hi! Have you tried the Bella Blvd Cut-Out? It's a fantastic product you can use in your projects to create a fabulous title or to add nice details. The best part is that you can customize them to your liking. This week's assignment was to use a Cut-Out and the Just Because collection, so here is my creation.
I chose the "You Are Loved" Cut-Out and backed it with three different patterned papers from the collection. Then, I added foam tape to the back to give it dimension when placed in the layout. Before adding the Cut-Out, I used a stencil and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to add a bit of color in some areas of the background. This will help the Cut-Out stand out from the white cardstock in the background.
On the bottom and top edges of the layout, I added strips of striped paper to give the layout a better finish. A pink strip was also added to the top edge, and a scalloped border to the bottom edge. The photos I chose for this layout are of my daughters. I printed them big to balance the layout since the title is big. To help them stand out, I used a yellow/orange patterned paper to mat them and capture the viewer's eye with this bright, contrasting color.
For the journaling, I'm using the orange tag. I created a pocket behind the photo to hold it. Then, I embellished the corner of the photo using flowers from the stickers, chipboard, epoxy, and puffy stickers in the Just Because collection.
In the center of the "O" and "R" of the title, I added an acrylic heart from the Bella Besties. Is just a cute detail to make the cut-out look better. To balance the layout, I added the floral chipboard to the bottom edge of the layout and cut the bee from one of the stickers in the 12" x 12" sheet.
Since flowers are always a great addition, I arranged a few more on the corner of the photo and the Cut-Out. There, I used the different products in the collection to add texture and also used butterflies fussy cut from one of the paper.
I recorded the process and prepared a reel so you can watch me creating this page. Please visit my Instagram
