Halloween Costume Layout

Hi!

Since Halloween is coming soon, let's start having fun with this cute layout I created with the October products on My Life 365 collection by Bella Blvd. In the collection, you are going to find two double-sided patterned papers for each month. You can see some of the designs on the top part of the photo, where I displayed them. One of the papers is a cut apart that includes tags, 3" x 4" cards, paper strips and phrases strips. It's very convenient to have this paper and fussy cut some of the elements to embellish the layout!

To have more options of papers, I used some of the Bella Besties cardstocks in coordinating colors. I started by matting the photos with the dots purple Bella Besties paper. Then, behind then, I used the lime stripes cardstock, and on the background the black one.

Also, behind the photos, I added three more patterned papers. The white paper with the pumpkins, ghosts, and witches, and the blue paper with the candies, are part of the My Life 365 October collection. The yellow gingham paper is from the Bella Besties 6" x 6" pad; this is why the design is smaller. Below the photos, you can see a scalloped border. It was fussy cut from one of the strips on the My Life 365 paper. The colored strip of paper is also from the same cut-apart paper.

Once all the papers were ready, I started embellishing the layout. For that, I used a die cut word with foam tape to add dimension to the layout. On the upper part of the layout, I added two ghosts from the chipboard and die cut pack, and two tags from the cut apart paper. To make the cluster more interesting, I added a few candies, and stars from the die cuts, and puffy embellishments. Then, I fussy cut the pumpkin and the word "Boo" from the cut apart paper.

On the left side of the photos, I made another cluster using the house from the Bella Pops, the die cut tab, and the ghost, which I fussy cut from the cut apart paper. In the title area, I made my third cluster using the same designs to create balance in the layout.

To make the layout more interesting, I added white paint splatters in the cluster area by using white calligraphy ink and a thin, rounded brush.

I had fun creating this layout and bringing back the memories of Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes. They look amazing, don't you think?

Thank you so much for your visit. I hope you like this layout, and it inspires you to craft. Have a wonderful day and come back soon for more inspiration!
