You Are Precious Layout

 Hi!

A few days ago I was checking some cut files I had already cut. I found this cute doll from Hero Arts that I purchased in the Silhouette store (#26023) and remembered that recently I photographed my daughter with a similar dress and look. It was a coincidence, but it was a great one. Since the doll is almost 11" tall and 6 1/2" wide the space left in the layout for the photo and embellishments was limited, which in this case helped me create this page quickly.

Heart Shaker Mini Album

 Hi

I know Valentine's Day is over, but I made a cute heart shape mini album to showcase the photos of my daughters while opening their presents. For Valentine's Day we always give them a present, something small to celebrate love. The truth is, we only buy gifts for them, because we are always having details with one another, but since they are kids, we surprise them with some details, especially this year that is harder to go out for a nice dinner and they are having school at home. The mini album was made using Miss Kate Designs Be Mini Paper and Stickers Kit. When the album is closed (in the widest side) it measures 5" wide by 4" tall. You can see all the pages in the photos below, and a flip through video at the end of this post.

Disney Main Street Flipbook

Hi!

I'm a fan of Disney and every time I see a new paper collection I buy it, so you must imagine that I have a lot of Disney collections in my stash, and some of them are still new. For some reason, I can shop faster than I craft. The good thing is, I know I have enough photos to work with them and when all this Covid situation ends, we will be going again to Disney, hopefully this will be soon! Anyway, back to the album, today I'm sharing with you a flipbook I did using Simple Stories Main Street collection, I love how quick this project was finished and all the photos it can hold. I made a flip through video that you can find at the end of this post, to show how interactive it is with all the flips and pockets.

You Are Happy Layout

Hi!

Last week I took some time to check my paper stash and selected a few collections to work with because I purchased them some time ago, maybe years, and haven't use them yet. This is how I decided to create a layout using the gorgeous and elegant Simple Stories Vintage Botanical collection. I enjoy doing this layout, because it have some of the things I enjoy the most. It have a cut file, paints, flowers, butterflies and cute details. I recorded the process of doing this layout for you to enjoy and maybe get some ideas, it is at the end of this post. But before, I will share with you some photos of the layout and the process of creating this beautiful layout for my girl.

Gnome Love with Shaker Heart Card

Hi

Yesterday I took some time to create a shaker card for Valentine's Day. I enjoy making shakers because they always bring a smile into my face when I see the movement of the sequins and also, because they brings a smile to the recipients regardless of their age.

You Sparkle Layout

 Hi!

Has it happened to you that you have a collection that you like but it was designed for a theme that you don't have photos for or maybe don't want to scrapbook about at the moment? Well, this is what happened to me. As part of Miss Kate Designs I received the beautiful Cold Days collection but sadly I don't have photos related to snow since we live in a Caribbean Island and haven't travel to any place with snow yet, hopefully one day we will. But I was determined to use it because I love the colors in it, and that is how I started this layout. Check all the photos and the process video at the end.

Family Time Layout

 Hi!

Last week I started working on an idea I had in my mind on recording some of the things we do during this covid-19 pandemic. I started with this layout about some of the TV series we binge watched together, during the nights since this started in March 2020 to the present. They are a lot of series, so I printed some of them in a small size to create a collage in two 4x6 photos. These photos are so busy that I can't add a lot of things to the layout, to maintain it clean and focus on the photos and the story. I added a lot of journaling to this layout, but it is hidden. Check the photos below and the process video at the end, to see how I made it and maybe it inspires you to create and journal some of the things you've been doing too.
