Sweet Memories Trifold Album and Tutorial

Hello crafty friend! Hope you are having a wonderful day. I'm very happy today since it is international Scrapbook Day (iNSD) and it means lots of fun for us paper crafters. To celebrate this special day, Simple Stories is having an Instagram Hop and I made a trifold album to share with you. They are holding a giveaway there, so don't forget to check it! This album is very interactive, with flaps and pockets, and can hold plenty of photos. The collection I used in this album is Simple Vintage Berry Fields. This gorgeous collection is one of Simple Stories' summer 2023 releases so you can find it hitting stores now. As a gift for you, I recorded the process to create this trifold album, which you can see below. Also, I prepared a sheet with measurements and some notes to help you create the album. Live in the Moment Mini Album

This month I had the opportunity to work with My Creative Scrapbook Creative Kit and I designed a mini album to use it. It is full of flaps and pockets that can hold lots of photos and memories and the colors are amazing! Tutorial: How to make a 7" x 9" Album (English & Spanish)

Summer Album

Hope you are having a beautiful day. In this post, I'm sharing with you my latest album. It is big, the covers are 7" x 9" and the interior pages are 6 1/2" x 8 1/2". I designed it a few months ago using black cardstock and chipboard and left it in my area, waiting until I had some time and a beautiful collection to cover and embellish it with, so when I received the gorgeous June Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook I thought they will work perfect together. For the cover, I made a shaker and embellished it with the die cuts and chipboards in the kit.

Fun Day Mini Album with Video and Tutorial

Have you seen the March Main Kit of My Creative Scrapbook? It is full of beautiful products and today I'm sharing with you a mini album I made with it. The photos of the mini album are from a school activity when my daughter was in third grade. She's in eleventh grade now. They are old photos that I never scrapbooked, but the papers in this kit are perfect for them since she was dressed as a cowgirl. 

For the cover, I made a shaker and decorated it with the alphas, die cuts, and chipboards from the kit. The gold leaves were heat embossed in vellum using the stamp set in the kit. If you want to learn how to make them, I prepared a video tutorial of how to emboss on vellum. You can find it at the end of the flip through video I'm sharing in this post.

Document Every Day Mini Album with Tutorial

Today I'm very happy to share with you my latest album designed with My Creative Scrapbook February Main Kit featuring Vicki Boutin's Fernwood collection. I also used a chipboard binder and pages inserts that are available as add-on with the kit purchase. This kit is gorgeous, the colors of the collection and all the designs make this kit a must have! Today is a happy day: it's reveal day at My Creative Scrapbook! Now you can see all the beautiful kits they prepared for this month. If you don't know about My Creative Scrapbook, they have a monthly subscription for different kits, depending on your style and the things you do, you can choose one or more subscriptions. This month I'm working with the Main Kit. Another thing about the kits, every month they provide a sketch to work with, new cut files, and lots of inspiration for all the kits. Life is Good Mini Album with Tutorial

Happy day friend! I'm very excited to share with you a new project I made for My Creative Scrapbook using the January Creative Kit. This kit is so pretty, the papers are gorgeous and perfect for all kinds of paper crafts, and you get lots of embellishments in it. If you haven't seen it, go check it out! The binder I'm using is 6" x 8" and is a naked binder My Creative Scrapbook have as an Add-on in their website. To make this album, I created my own pages using thick cardstock (80 lbs. or more). Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing with you a Christmas mini album I made using My Creative Scrapbook December 2021 Main Kit. This is my first month being part of their Design Team and I'm very happy to share with you my ideas using their kits. This mini album I'm sharing was inspired by one I made last year for Christmas too, but this one is bigger. It is 6" x 8" when closed, which allows for more decorations and photos. Crop & Create Delivered Fall 2021 Project Share

Hope you are having a great day! I'm very happy because last weekend I did a lot of scrapbooking. I was attending my first Crop & Create Papercraft Event by Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine and two of my friends were at home with me doing scrapbooking. I have to tell you, the event was amazing. Very well organized, all the projects were gorgeous, high quality products (and lots of products), instructions, videos, lives, surprises, give aways and so much more! Perfect Princess Mini Album with Video

Last week was a little busy one at home but I manage to create this mini album using Perfect Princess collection by Echo Park Papers  This collection is a little old but it's so beautiful. The designs include princesses, prince, dragons, unicorns, fairies and flowers and the colors are so happy. This mini album is the same I share last week (dinosaurs mini album), the difference is in the theme and how I decorated them.

Happy Saturday! I'm back today with a dinosaur mini album I made for a boy who loves dinosaurs. The beautiful papers and stickers used are from Echo Park Dino Friends collection. The colors are very cute and the papers are so happy and playful, I hope he likes it! At the end of this post you can see a flip through video.

Heart Shaker Mini Album

I know Valentine's Day is over, but I made a cute heart shape mini album to showcase the photos of my daughters while opening their presents. For Valentine's Day we always give them a present, something small to celebrate love. The truth is, we only buy gifts for them, because we are always having details with one another, but since they are kids, we surprise them with some details, especially this year that is harder to go out for a nice dinner and they are having school at home. The mini album was made using Miss Kate Designs Be Mini Paper and Stickers Kit. When the album is closed (in the widest side) it measures 5" wide by 4" tall. You can see all the pages in the photos below, and a flip through video at the end of this post.

Disney Main Street Flipbook

I'm a fan of Disney and every time I see a new paper collection I buy it, so you must imagine that I have a lot of Disney collections in my stash, and some of them are still new. For some reason, I can shop faster than I craft. The good thing is, I know I have enough photos to work with them and when all this Covid situation ends, we will be going again to Disney, hopefully this will be soon! Anyway, back to the album, today I'm sharing with you a flipbook I did using Simple Stories Main Street collection, I love how quick this project was finished and all the photos it can hold. I made a flip through video that you can find at the end of this post, to show how interactive it is with all the flips and pockets. 

Santa Mini Album (Video and Tutorial)

It's almost Christmas and I'm behind on all my scrapbook stuff. I planned a lot of things but only made a few of them, I think my mind is faster with ideas than the time available to execute them. Anyway, last week I shared with you a cute Winter mini album titled Cold Days. To make the video tutorial I made a second mini album and I have it in my desk, so I decided to mat it using Christmas papers from Miss Kate, using colors and embellishments that I can use for our photos. Since we live in a Caribbean Island, we don't have snow and sadly I haven't traveled yet to any place with snow, hopefully soon we can do it! 

Cold Days Mini Album (Tutorial and Videos)

As a paper crafter, I love beautiful papers and embellishments. Just by seeing them I get inspired, and this is what happened to me with this beautiful Cold Days collection by Miss Kate Designs. The colors and designs in the collection are so pretty that despite not having any photos in the snow, I decided to create a cute mini album to use this collection. At the end of this post you can see a flip through video of the album. But because it is Christmas, I want to give you the instructions of this mini album so you can make it too. You Make My Heart Flutter Mini Album

I've been busy with the daily chores and getting ready for Christmas, but I managed to finish a mini album I started a few months ago and decided to make a quick tutorial on how to assemble the mini album. First, I want to let you know that the idea of this mini album is from Heidi Swapp. I saw her class in Scrapbook.com and decided to try it. What I like about this mini album is how quickly it can by assembled because it is made out of A2 cards.  At the end of this post you can see the video tutorial.

How are you? I'm happy to share with you a Christmas mini album I finished for Miss Kate Designs. I made this cute mini album using the gorgeous Festive Christmas Collection. My Sweet 15 Mini Album with Video

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Here in Puerto Rico it is very sunny and hot. We are all at home working, and today was last day of school. Yeahhh!!! I want to share with you this 8" x 10" mini album I designed as a gift for my cousin Valeria who turned 15 a few months ago. To create the album I used the Creative Heart collection by Recollection. You can see a flip through video at the end of this post.

Happy Birthday To You (Quinceañera) Mini Album

Hope you are having a great day! We are still in quarantine, I lost track of how many days we've been this way, hopefully this will pass soon. Hopefully a cure for Covid-19 can be found soon, so we can return to our normal lives and our kids can enjoy life as it should be. During this quarantine, my daughter had her 15th Birthday. For us, Latinos, this is a big moment in our daughter's life and we celebrate it big. Our plans were to celebrate it in a "Quinceañera" cruise around the Caribbean Islands but everything was canceled due to the Coronavirus, but I wanted to do something special for her no matter what was happening. I had to improvise some decorations in our house, and thanks to a friend who lent me some fabrics and flowers, I was able to prepare a nice background and take beautiful photos of her. Also, she helped me decorate the wall, thanks a lot Saraí! We did a family and friends Zoom call to sing her happy birthday and surprised her with a "serenata" which she enjoyed a lot and some gifts like this mini album I'm sharing with you today.
