Everyday Moment Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing with you a layout I made using My Creative Scrapbook January 2022 Creative Kit. This kit features mostly Echo Park Day in the Life collection, but the kit includes a few additional sheets of papers from other companies like American Crafts, Crate Paper, Maggie Holmes, and Vicki Boutin. To create this layout, I used the January sketch designed by Laura Whitaker and an exclusive title cut file. If you haven't checked their kits, I recommend you do it because they are awesome!

Life is Good Mini Album with Tutorial

 Hi!

Happy day friend! I'm very excited to share with you a new project I made for My Creative Scrapbook using the January Creative Kit. This kit is so pretty, the papers are gorgeous and perfect for all kinds of paper crafts, and you get lots of embellishments in it. If you haven't seen it, go check it out! The binder I'm using is 6" x 8" and is a naked binder My Creative Scrapbook have as an Add-on in their website. To make this album, I created my own pages using thick cardstock (80 lbs. or more). You can see the video at the end of this post to see how I made them, so stay with me to see photos of the pages and learn all the details about them.

Ho Ho Ho Layout

 Hi!

Hope you are having a beautiful Christmas Eve! I'm cooking at home and preparing everything for tonight, but took a moment to share with you this gorgeous layout I made a few weeks ago for a class I taught virtually. Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year, so going back to teach at this moment was amazing and had me very excited to create beautiful and festive layouts with some scrapbook friends. The class sold out, so I don't have kits available, but I'll be doing a new class in January, so stay tuned for all the details.

Merry Christmas Layout

Hi!

Hope you are having an excellent day! I'm enjoying Christmas season and documenting some Christmas memories with what I have left from the December Main Kit of My Creative Scrapbook. After making the mini album and a layout, I still had a few pieces of papers and embellishments that I used to create this beautiful page. I didn't record the process of creating it, but I'll tell you everything during this post, in case you want to make it or draw some inspiration from it!

Fun & Joy Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a great day! I'm back today at the blog with another project for My Creative Scrapbook using the December Main Kit. After making the mini album, I still had a few pieces of paper, the glitter alphabet, and chipboard words that I can use to create a layout with the December sketch. Since I used so many die cuts in the mini album, I only had a few left, especially phrases, but I was looking for something else to use in my layout. This is when I decided to make some poinsettias with an old Sizzix Tim Holtz die I had in my stash to create the clusters in the page. Stay with me during this post, to read all the details and see photos of how I made this layout. Also, at the end, you can find the process video to create this layout.

You & Me Happy Together Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a joyful day! Today I'm sharing with you a layout I designed for Cut To You by Gwen 25 Days of Christmas' projects share. I used the Star Cluster cut file, it is a beautiful design that can be used for Christmas projects but also for many other themes like birthdays, Disney, and more. Go to her blog for more Christmas ideas and don't forget to visit her shop for amazing designs! But now, let's talk about this layout and how I made it. Also, you can see the process video at the end of this post.

Wallet 6" x 8" Mini Album Tutorial

Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing with you a Christmas mini album I made using My Creative Scrapbook December 2021 Main Kit. This is my first month being part of their Design Team and I'm very happy to share with you my ideas using their kits. This mini album I'm sharing was inspired by one I made last year for Christmas too, but this one is bigger. It is 6" x 8" when closed, which allows for more decorations and photos. You can find the written tutorial of this mini album at My Creative Scrapbook or you can download it here, at the end of the post. Also, you can see a process video showing how to construct the mini album and at the end you can see a flip through of how the mini album turned out using the December Main Kit, so stay with me during this post to see this beautiful mini album and learn how to make it!

You've Got a Friend in Me Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful week. A few days ago, I finished this layout I'm sharing today titled "You've Got a Friend in Me" using an SVG cut file I found on Etsy from a seller named Scrap4DayzDesigns. When I saw this design, I fell in love with it because it is perfect for those Toy Story photos I have from our Disney vacations, so I cut it in white cardstock, made a background using mixed media, and here is the finished page. I have good news, if you like this layout, you can see how I made it in the video at the end of this post, so stay with me while I tell you how I made it and show you some close up photos.

Crop & Create Delivered Fall 2021 Project Share

 Hi!

Hope you are having a great day! I'm very happy because last weekend I did a lot of scrapbooking. I was attending my first Crop & Create Papercraft Event by Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine and two of my friends were at home with me doing scrapbooking. I have to tell you, the event was amazing. Very well organized, all the projects were gorgeous, high quality products (and lots of products), instructions, videos, lives, surprises, give aways and so much more! Stay with me during this post to see a short video with the 19 layouts, the Christmas mini album and two traveler's notebooks we made during the weekend.

The Wand Chooses the Wizard Layout

 Hi!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm finishing mine by sharing this layout I made for my daughter using a cut file I bought on Etsy from Scraps4DayzDesigns. My daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan, so when I saw this cut file, I knew I had to buy it and make a layout right away. The photos are from 2014, when she got her wand. That day she chose Hermione's wand without reading or knowing anything from Harry Potter's stories and before making this layout I asked her, if she could go back in time but with all the knowledge she have of Harry Potter's (after reading all the books a few times) which wand would she choose and she told me that the same one, Hermione's. After hearing that, I was excited to made the layout, knowing that the title perfectly fits this story.

Cheers to Us Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a great day! I'm happy to share with you a very colorful layout I made using a cut file and mixed media. The best part is I recorded the process of making this layout, and you can see it at the end of this post. As a scrapbooker for many years, I love to photograph everything; not only my family, but also things that can bring me some memories of a special day, meal, or moment. The sad part is that usually I scrapbook the photos of my family and leave behind all those other photos. Thankfully, this is not the case in this layout, for which I used a photo of a mojito to remember my husband and I's anniversary lunch at the beach.

So Very Grateful for You Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm very happy to share with you a beautiful and elegant layout I made for my daughters using two cut files from Cut to You by Gwen. A few weeks ago, Gwen invited me to be a guest designer for today and October 26. I was very happy because I love her cut files, especially the florals and titles, so I immediately accepted. Here is the first layout I designed for her. I also recorded the process of creating this layout and you can find it at the end of this post.

Thank You Abuela Layout

 Hi!

Today I'm sharing with you a special layout. I'm usually scrapbooking about my daughters and today's layout is also about them, but also, about the special bond they have with my mom, their "abuela". They enjoy visiting her so much, and better if they can stay a few hours in her home because "abuela" always takes time to play, talk, make them delicious food, and they love this special time bonding together. It is a blessing having her in our lives and this layout honors this love and bond they have.

Love Life Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Has it happened to you that sometimes you focus on scrapbooking your kids, husbands, family, etc, but don't scrapbook about yourself? Well, this happens to me a lot. My favorite scrapbooking subjects are my daughters and family. I'm usually the person photographing everyone, but it's not common for me to be in the photograph, and it's even more rare for me to take selfies. Sometimes, however, when I go the beauty salon, I photograph myself to document how my hair looks at that moment. This photo is a little bit old, but I wanted to scrapbook it and found this cut file from Cut To You was perfect for it. As a bonus, I recorded the process of doing this layout and you can find the video at the end of this post.

Joy of Christmas Double Spread Layout

 Hi!

It's been a long time since I made a double spread layout but these Christmas photos required one. Every Christmas eve, we do a photo shoot of the girls leaving cookies and milk for Santa and then we prepare the tripod and camera to photograph us in front of the tree. This is a fun tradition because using the timer of the camera and having four people ready is not always easy, but it captures us, as we are and this is great!

Always Happy Layout with Process Video

 Hi

After a few days away from posting my work, I'm back with a beautiful layout using mixed media and the newest Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection "These Days". This collection is gorgeous and has many embellishments, making it hard to decide what to use. I love their products, the colors are always beautiful and the designs are stunning, perfect for almost all themes and projects. This is my first layout with this collection, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I invite you to stay with me and get comfortable while I tell you how I made this layout. If you like watching process videos, you can find this layout's video at the end of the post. Now, let's start with this layout.

Good Life Layout

 Hi!

How are you? Hope you are healthy and having a great day! I'm happy to start this week sharing with you my version of sketch 17 of Allison Davis' class. The class is coming to the end next week when she will present sketch 20. At this moment I'm two sketches behind, hopefully for next week I'll be finishing them all. Last week was a little busy for me, planning my toddler's birthday party and doing virtual classes with her, but now I have a little more time to craft, so hopefully I can finish the class on time. As mentioned before, I can't share with you the original sketch since this is a paid class, but here is my version of it and I will tell you how I made it, so stay with me during this post to learn all the details.

Sweet Cookie Layout

 Hi!

I'm back this week for the second time with a layout using sketch #16 from Allison Davis' class. Now I'm up to date since the class is in week #17, and I only need to work with this week's sketch before Monday. This class is almost over, it consists of twenty sketches, one per week, using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layouts. I can't share with you the original sketches because this is a paid class, but I can share my interpretation of them with you. So, stay with me while I explain how I made this one.

You Are Sweet & Lovely Layout

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I couldn't scrapbook during the weekend since we were busy doing things at home, but here I'm catching up with Allison Davis' class using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layouts. Today I'm sharing with you my version of the sketch #15, I'm very close to catching up with the class, only two more layouts since yesterday she presented sketch #17. I 'll be doing my best to finish them this week, before Friday, but now, let's talk about how I made this layout.

My Fabulous Nails Layout

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful Friday! I'm very happy to share with you layout #14 from Allison Davis' class using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layout. As mentioned in my previous posts, I'm a little behind but I'm doing my best to catch up before Monday, when she will present sketch #17. I can't share with you the original sketch because this is a paid class, but I can share my interpretation of it, which is pretty close to the original. Since I just want to catch up with the class, I'm working quickly with these layouts, which is why I haven't done any mixed media in these days. Next week I'll be back with all those designs I love to create using paint, cut files, and more.

Limber Chill Out Layout

 Hi!

Wow, I'm back in the blog this week, the fourth post in a row! That's a big accomplishment for me these days that I've been so busy, but I have managed to work on my layouts while supervising my toddler in virtual school. I made this layout using sketch #13 by Allison Davis. As you can see, this week I've been trying to catch up with her class since it is already in week 16. Since this is a paid class, I can't share the original sketch with you, but here is my interpretation of it.

Hello Princess Layout

 Hi!

How are you today? I hope you are having a great day! Today is my third day in a row sharing a layout using a sketch from Allison Davis class using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layouts. This is sketch #12, now I'm 4 layouts behind to catch up with the class. For this layout I made some minor changes that I will explain since I can't share with you the original sketch because this is a paid class.

Goofin' Off Layout

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing layout #11 from Allison Davis class using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layouts. When I saw this sketch, I immediately thought about "Disney", so I decided to stay very close to the original design because I love it and following it will help me finish the layout faster. One of the changes I made was matting the layout in the blue paper. I like to do this to give the page a more elegant look and to help it look more interesting. As mentioned in previous posts, I can't share with you the original sketch because it is a paid class, but I can share my interpretation of it, so here it is.

Hacienda Juanita Layout

 Hi!

It's been a long time since my last post. I was getting ready for this new school year. This will be my toddler's first time in a school since last year I home schooled her, but because the Covid-19 situation right now is not under control, they are going to start virtually. On the other hand, my teenager daughter went back to school since the change to virtual classes in March 2020. It's been really exciting for her to be able to meet with friends, make new ones and being in a classroom and school. Hopefully, everything goes well and I pray for God to bless all the students, teachers, and personel so they can continue having a more "normal" school experience. Anyways, here I am, trying to catch up with Allison Davis class using 6" x 6" paper pads to create 12" x 12" layouts.  The class is already in week 16 and today I'm sharing my version of week 10 layout. As you can see, I'm a little behind, but hopefully I can catch up this week.

My Blessing From Heaven Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

This year I started a class with Allison Davis that consists on making layouts using a sketches she designed for 6" x 6" paper pads. Since this is a paid class, I can't share with you the original sketch but I can share my interpretation of it. The class is currently in week 13, and today I'm sharing with you my layout of week 9. As you can see, I'm still four weeks behind, so I'll be doing my best to catch up soon. Anyway, let's talk about this layout. Don't forget to check the process video at the end of this post!

Our Story Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Two weeks ago, my husband and I celebrated our 18 anniversary and I decided to make a layout with a selfie we took that day. It is not the best photo, but it's the only one in portrait that I can use in this layout without covering the cut file. This layout took me some time because I made a shaker in the title, used a cut file that I backed with different papers, fuzzy cut a lot of flowers and did some mixed media in the background. If you want to know all the details, stay with me during this post and check the photos and process video.

Colorful Art Layout

Hi!

My youngest daughter is very crafty and she enjoys painting with lots of colors and making splatters. She learned that from me, and since the first moment she saw me doing splatters her eyes opened wide and she wanted to try it. Now, every time she is painting, she adds paint splatters to everything, including school work. This is why I made this layout for her, to document her love for painting and splatters.

Sunshine Days Layout

 Hi!

I'm back in the blog today with a summer layout I made using the gorgeous Sunkissed collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio, a cut file from Peartree Cutfile, some mixed media and lots of fuzzy cutting. I love so much how this layout turned out. It is happy and shout summer! This layout was featured in the Summer issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine, on page 65. Remember you can download the digital version of the magazine for free or you can subscribe to the printed version. The photos are from me and my daughter at the Villa Pesquera Beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico. The place is amazing, and it was a wonderful day at my hometown!

Home School Pre-K Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Last year, I started a new adventure with my daughter, home schooling. I always teach them stuff before going to school, but this was different. I bought the Abeka books for Pre-K and made a schedule to work with her from Monday through Thursday. It was a learning process for both of us, but it was wonderful and I made this layout to document this first day of home schooling. I invite you to stay with me during this post to learn how I made this layout, and you can check out the process video at the end of the post.

Hello Beautiful Layout

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I've been doing house chores, but now I'm taking some time to share this layout I made using week 8 sketch from Allison Davis class of layouts using 6" x 6" paper pads. Since this is a paid class I can't share her sketch, but I can share my interpretation of it and explain how I made my layout, this way you can see how different it is from the original sketch. I invite you to stay with me during this post and enjoy the process. Maybe you will be inspired and/or learn something new.

You Are So Beautiful Layout

 Hi!

I'm back today at the blog with the layout for week 7 of Allison Davis sketch class using 6" x 6" paper pads. With this layout I'm up to date and tomorrow she'll be presenting the sketch for week 8. Hopefully I can stay on track with the class! I can't share the sketch with you because this is a paid class, but I'm sharing my version of  it.

Your Smile is Amazing Layout

 Hi!

This week I took some time to work on the sketch class I'm taking with Allison Davis using 6" x 6" paper pads since I was two weeks behind. Today I'll be sharing two layouts with you. This first layout is week 6 of class. For this one, instead of using paper from a 6" x 6" pad, I used pieces of papers from an old Bella Blvd collection I had in my stash. I took these papers out a few weeks ago, thinking of making something with them soon or throw them away. I'm pretty happy that I was able to use them in this layout for my teenage daughter.

Fun in the Sun Layout

 Hi!

Last week I couldn't made the week 5 layout for Allison Davis 6"x6" paper pad class but here it is. It is a simple sketch that uses three triangles that, when arranged, make a 6" x 6" square of paper. For my page I made a few changes, so stay with me during this post to know all the details about this beautiful and colorful layout.

Happy Girl Layout

Hi

Hope you are having a great day! Today I'm sharing with you a layout I made using a doily cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables and papers from Photoplay. For this layout, I used a sketch by Page Maps June 2021 and made a few changes to adapt it to my style and photos.

You Are Sweet As Honey Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a great day! I'm very happy to share with you my latest layout. For this one, I did some mixed media and prepared a process video that you can find at the end of this post. This was a fun layout to make using products from different companies, playing with the title and using a full 4" x 6" photo of my fashionista baby.  I invite you to stay with me during this post, while I tell you how I made it, maybe you learn something new or get inspire.

The Best Day Layout

 Hi!

Yesterday I had some time to craft and made this layout I'm sharing with you today. It is titled "Best Day Ever". Is a simple grid design using three small photos from our Disney vacation on 2016 where my mom went with us. This layout, is my version of week 4 class with Allison's Davis. Every week, she presents us a sketch to create a layout using 6" x 6" paper pads. I'm doing my best to stay in time with the class, and so far I have succeeded. Stay with me, so I can tell you how I made this layout!

Love This Little Moments Layout With Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a great Sunday! Today I'm in the blog to share with you my third layout for Alison's Davis class Sketches for 6" x 6" Paper Pads. As mentioned in my previous posts, I can't share the sketch with you since this is a paid class, but you can buy the class in their store: Scrapbook Generation. The class is great, and gives lots of ideas on using those paper pads we have in our stash for so long. At the end of this post, you can find the process video of how I made this layout.

School Life Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing a new layout I made for the Create With Alison YouTube hop. She's celebrating 250 subscribers and as part of the celebration, she asked me and a group of crafty ladies to create a project inspired by one of her layouts. In this post, I'm going to show you how I made my layout and you can find the process video at the end.

My Little Sassy & Sweet Girl Layout

Hi!

Last week I mentioned I started a class with Allison Davis for Scrapbook Generation about creating layouts using 6" x 6" papers pads. This is my layout for week 2. I can't share the class sketch with you because it is part of a paid class, but I can share my interpretation of it. For this layout, I used a paper pad from Echo Park Paper named Jim and Jill. It's an old collection from a few years ago. I decided to use it because it is still beautiful and works perfectly with the photos of my daughter dressed as Little Red Ridding Hood that I already had printed.

Kiss Magic Layout

 Hi

Hope you are having a great day! Last week I started a class with Allison Davis from Scrapbook Generation. The class is going to last 20 weeks and each week she will present a 12" x 12" sketch to make a layout using 6" x 6" paper pads. The idea for the first sketch was to create a layout using a square photo in the middle, backed with a sheet of 6" x 6" paper and lots of circles and rings in the background. Since this is a paid class, I can't show you the sketch but I can share with you my interpretation of it.

Little Moments Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm in the blog today to share with you a new layout I made for one of Cocoa Vanilla Studio's challenge for the International Scrapbook Day (iNSD) 2021. The challenge was to make a layout using a sketch by Laura Albert and products from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. My layout is not exactly like the sketch, but I love how it turned out. At the end of this post you can see the process video of how I created this layout.

Grateful Heart Layout

Hi

How are you? I'm very happy to share with you the second layout I made yesterday during the iNSD. This is something I haven't been able to do for a long time, but I decided to stay crafting and having fun for the day. It was so good, but to make it better, I made a this layout using a photo of me and my daughters. Since I'm usually the one taking the photos, I don't often appear in them, but this one was a special one. My husband took it a day we were having lunch in a restaurant before going to a short vacation here in the island because we didn't want to travel with all this Covid-19 situation in the world.

My Turn Layout

 Hi!

Yesterday was the international scrapbook day (iNSD) and to celebrate it, I stayed at home scrapbooking and finished two layouts. This is the first of them to document my process of Covid-19 vaccination. The photo is not the best since my husband was supposed to take a photo but he wasn't able to do it. Anyway, I used the only photo I have from a selfie I manage to take.

Hope (Vaccination) Layout with Process Video

 Hi!

How are you? I'm very happy to share with you a new layout I made to document my husband's vaccination process. For this layout I used Simple Stories Quarantined collection and a Peartree Cutfile title. It was a quick layout with a little bit of mixed media. You can find the process video at the end of this post.

Perfect Princess Mini Album with Video

 Hi

Last week was a little busy one at home but I manage to create this mini album using Perfect Princess collection by Echo Park Papers  This collection is a little old but it's so beautiful. The designs include princesses, prince, dragons, unicorns, fairies and flowers and the colors are so happy. This mini album is the same I share last week (dinosaurs mini album), the difference is in the theme and how I decorated them.

Happy Days Layout

Hi!

Hope you are having a great day! Today I'm sharing with you one of my layouts that was published in the Spring 2021 issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. You can find my layout on page 69. Remember you can order the printed version of the magazine, my favorite to take it everywhere and feel the pages, or you can download the digital version for free in their website. I made this layout for my baby girl. This time, I used products from Cocoa Vanilla Daydream collection. I love their products, they are always full of great details like flowers and colors that make me happy because they are soft and easy to work with practically any photo.

Dinosaur Mini Album

 Hi!

Happy Saturday! I'm back today with a dinosaur mini album I made for a boy who loves dinosaurs. The beautiful papers and stickers used are from Echo Park Dino Friends collection. The colors are very cute and the papers are so happy and playful, I hope he likes it! At the end of this post you can see a flip through video.

Lazy Days Layout

 Hi!

Hope you are having a great day! A few days ago, I was looking through our digital photos and found these of my daughter in the pool, celebrating her graduation  from sixth grade. It was a pool party and the day was beautiful. She had lots of fun with her friends and I took some photos to remember that special day. It's been four years since that moment, and she's changed so much. I don't know if  it is nostalgia or what, but seeing photos is something I love to do, especially when looking for inspiration. These photos are so pretty and bring back so many beautiful memories that I decided to scrapbook them using the Page Maps sketch for SCT Magazine Summer's issue call. You can see the sketch bellow. I follow it to a T, except for a few extra embellishments I added.
