Last year I was asked for a collaboration with the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. The assignment was to create a double layout using the Sweet & Spooky collection by Doodlebug Designs. I was thrilled with the opportunity and made two different designs. These are the ones that made it into the Fall/Winter issue of the magazine, and they featured five photos of my daughter during Halloween. You can find the other double layout I made here.
Hello! I've been very busy lately and forgot to share with you these layouts I made and were published in the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. My layout was featured on page 66. It's a double spread using products from Echo Park Paper to document our visit to Universal Studios last year to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday and high school graduation. Hi! I'm back again, this time with the second option I made for the summer cover of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. As mentioned in my previous post, I was invited to create one of the layouts they would consider for the cover and I was so happy, that I made two layouts to choose one for the submission. Thankfully they helped me choose one, because the votes at home were divided. The chosen one was the layout with the sunflowers cluster, but this one also reflects my style and I didn't want to throw it away so I decided to re-use it with new journaling and a photo of my daughters. The layout below is the re-used one and the other is the original (girl with sunflower). Stay with me, and let's talk about this layout!
Hello! Today I'm sharing with you a special layout. Well, this is the first of two layouts I made for the Summer cover of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. With every issue, they invite three designers to create a page that can be the cover of the magazine. You can imagine how surprised and happy I was to be considered for this. Mine was not the winner, but it was an amazing opportunity because I was considered alongside two other talented and well known scrapbookers like Nathalie DeSousa and Brianna Lepper. When they contacted me, I was so thrilled that I decided to make two layouts and choose one of them, so I made this with sunflowers to match the provided photo, and another with bright colors. I sent both layouts for them to choose which one they prefer, and the sunflower layout was the chosen one.
I wanted to re-use the layout, but this time with a photo of my daughters. Here in this post, you can see the original version published in the magazine and how I modified it with a photo of my daughters and new journaling, everything else is the same. Below you can see the re-used layout. I choose this photo because my toddler was wearing a sunflowers dress, this way the theme will work perfectly. So, let's check both layouts and talk about the design!

Happy New Year! Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing a beautiful and happy layout I made for my toddler daughter and it was featured in the Winter issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine on page 70. This girl is very active and spontaneous, usually making it hard for me take photos since she is always joking and making faces, while the big one is always posing and ready. This day we were making cookies for Santa and I took the camera to photograph them, and this was the result. Stay with me during this post, to learn of the details of it!

Today I'm sharing with you a special layout. I'm usually scrapbooking about my daughters and today's layout is also about them, but also, about the special bond they have with my mom, their "abuela". They enjoy visiting her so much, and better if they can stay a few hours in her home because "abuela" always takes time to play, talk, make them delicious food, and they love this special time bonding together. It is a blessing having her in our lives and this layout honors this love and bond they have.

I'm back in the blog today with a summer layout I made using the gorgeous Sunkissed collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio, a cut file from Peartree Cutfile, some mixed media and lots of fuzzy cutting. I love so much how this layout turned out. It is happy and shout summer! This layout was featured in the Summer issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine, on page 65. The photos are from me and my daughter at the Villa Pesquera Beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico. The place is amazing, and it was a wonderful day at my hometown!

I made this layout for my baby girl. This time, I used products from Cocoa Vanilla Daydream collection. I love their products, they are always full of great details like flowers and colors that make me happy because they are soft and easy to work with practically any photo.
