Hi and happy new year! I've been missing from the blog, enjoying my family during the last days of Christmas. Yes, I said Christmas since I live in Puerto Rico and for us, the Holidays extend until the end of January. This time, I'm sharing with you a layout I created using the gorgeous Snowflakes Season by Bella Blvd.
For this layout, I'm using photos of my cousin and her beautiful family since I don't have photos in the snow. After printing the photos, I wanted to create a fun and playful layout, which is why I cut the upper papers in a curvy pattern. Then, I used the same papers in the bottom area to balance the layout and to create a scene.
The snow mountains are part of the Ephemera Icons. I alter them by adding white dots using Nuvo Drops to mimic snow. Then, on the top of the mountain, I used translucent glitter also from Nuvo Drops. These little details make the area cutter and add texture to the page. The snowman is from the Bella Pops. Isn't it adorable?
For the title, I used die cuts from the Ephemera Words. I backed them with foam tape for dimension and placed a few more die cuts on the side to enhance it.
To help the photos stand out in the layout, I matted them using two different patterned papers from the Snowflakes Season collection. Both of them have a subtle design that adds texture, capturing the viewer's attention, but doesn't distract. I cut them a little bigger to make the photos look like Polaroids.
On top of the photos, I added a banner and the "Together" label to balance the layout.
Then, to finish the page, I added the blue bird from the Ciao Chip Stickers and a few snowflakes from the Epoxy and Puffy Stickers.
