Let's Play Layout

Hi! This is my latest layout, using the fabulous Game Night collection by Simple Stories. Spending time with my family always fills my heart with joy, and every time we have the opportunity to play board games, we surely do. Those are very special moments where we laugh, eat snacks, and have so much fun together that we love them! Let's take a look at this fun layout I created to document one of those special family moments.

That day, we were playing a non-traditional board game, but this collection is so amazing that I was able to use it, and I love how the layout turned out. As you can see, it is perfect to document any game moment! I started this layout by mating the white cardstock with the red patterned paper to create a frame around the page. In the central area, I used the yellow graph paper to create contrast and impact. Above the yellow paper, I added a thin strip of the turquoise paper and the scalloped border sticker.

To enhance the photos, I mat them using a mint paper from the 6" x 8" paper pad. Then, I created a pocket behind the biggest photo to hold the tags and added white crochet thread to decorate them. The tag with the orange top holds the journaling, and the other serves as an anchoring point for the title.

For the title, I used the "Let's Play!" words from the foam stickers. I arranged them on top of the photos, but since they are not horizontally aligned, the title looks more playful and fun.

Below the photos, I used little pieces of patterned paper to create banners. This way, I was able to add more colors to the layout and make the photo area the focal point.

At the end, I decorated the page using the coordinating products in the Game Night collection. I created two clusters using the die-cuts, cardstock stickers, foam stickers, decorative brads, and enamel dots. The first one is in the left corner of the photo to balance the page.

The second one is on the right side of the title to enhance it.
