Hello Fall Layout

Hello! Using florals in my projects is something that I love and the Cider & Donuts collection by Simple Stories have the most gorgeous flowers and color palette to document Fall. I'm in love with this collection and today I'm sharing my second layout using it. This time, I did a little bit of mixed media and used different products from the collection. If want to watch me creating this layout, don't miss the process video at the end of this post.

Before starting this page, I selected three photos of me and my daughter and printed them in a small size because I wanted to do some mixed media in the center of the layout. Once I had the photos, I mated them in patterned paper and added a few extra pieces of papers behind to create layers. To give the papers a little bit of texture, I distressed the edges of them.

On top edge of the page, I selected to pieces of paper, I tear one of the edges and distress it. In the central area, I added yellow Distress Oxide inks and used texture paste in terracotta and beige and a stencil to add a few dots and tiny triangles.

For the title, I used a foam sticker from the Cider & Donuts collection which had stitched details and all the colors in the collection. Below it, I added a label and a rub-on phrase as a sub-title.

On the top corner of the photos, I created a floral cluster using die cuts, fussy cut flowers, stickers and rub-on. To give them dimension, I used foam tape behind most of the pieces.

For the journaling, I made a pocket behind the photos to be able to fit two tags that can be easily pull.

If you like this layout, I invite you to watch the process video. You are going to see me creating this page while I explain how to make it and some of my creative thoughts.

This is the final layout. I love how vibrant and happy it looks. I hope you like it too!

Thank you so much for your visit. Please, come back soon for more inspiration!
