Hello! Hope you are having a great day. I'm very happy to share with you my first layout as part of the Bella Blvd 2025 - 2026 Creative Team. For this layout, I used the gorgeous Bow Wow collection. This is the cutest collection for all pet lovers. The papers are bright and beautiful and many of them can be used for other projects not related to pets making them very versatile.
I love creating different projects, but layouts are my favorite so this time, I'm sharing with you a layout I created with photos of my dog Lilly when she arrived at our home in 2015. I started by choosing three photos of Lilly and the "Woof" cut out that is part of the Bow Wow collection. This is my first time using a Bella Blvd cut out design and I can tell you they are amazing. The cut is very clean, and the material is thicker than a cardstock. I just loved them and I'm sure I'll be using them frequently.
In the photos area, I used six different patterned papers. I started by matting the photos with the yellow gingham paper. Behind it, I added a piece of the turquoise dotted paper. On the sides of the turquoise paper, I added a 1/2" strip of the colored stripes papers. Vertically, I used two strips of paper: one green with grass designs and the other with colored flowers. To give them texture, I notched the bottom edge. Once I had all the papers in the photo area ready, I put them to the side and worked with the background.
Finally, I added a subtitle to the layout using a purple tag from one of the patterned papers in the Bow Wow collection and the die cuts words from the Ephemera. Then, I embellished the page using the Icons Ephemera die cuts, chipboard stickers, cardstock stickers, puffy stickers, and epoxy stickers. The last detail was adding a border around the white paper by using a black pen.
Take a look at the process video to watch me creating this layout.
