Are We There Yet? Layout

Hello! This fun layout was created with the beautiful Time to Travel Collection by Bella Blvd. When we travel, I'm always taking photos of us to document all the processes and emotions. I love watching the photos later and remembering those moments. For this layout, I'm using three photos of our trip to Las Vegas. My daughters love to travel, and these photos deserve to be documented with this gorgeous collection full of color and cute designs.  

 

After checking the Time to Travel collection, I noticed the Words Ephemera pack had many tags, and immediately I knew I wanted to showcase them in my layout. For that, I selected the navy paper with the airplanes for the background to have a place where the tags can be seen. Then, I started placing the tags on the top area, varying their heights, designs, and colors to create a fantastic tag cluster on top of the photos.

 

Once the placement was ready, I added foam tape to the upper part of the tags to give them dimension. Then, I used white crochet thread to hold them together, giving a better finishing look and adding texture to the layout. 

Below the tags, I added a strip of white/black striped paper. The neutral color is perfect to enhance the tags and create a contrast between them and the photos. After that, I added the white paper with the gray arrows, giving the photos an anchoring place. The white color is a great addition to make the photos with the orange mat stand out in the layout.

Then, I added three strips of paper below the photos. The red and the colored stripes are part of the cut-apart paper. The yellow strip was cut from another paper, and the scalloped border was created with a paper punch.

To finish the layout, I added the title using letters from the Black Scramble Stickers. I cut thin pieces of foam tape and added them to the letter stickers for dimension. On the right, I used a world globe die cut from the Ephemera Icons pack, a plane from the Puffy Stickers, and two hearts from the Epoxy stickers. 

 

 In the photos area, I embellished using die-cut words, puffy stickers, and the Bella Pop airplane and clouds. Isn't it the cutest? Then, in the tags area, I embellished a little more using little icons from the collection embellishment packs.
