Hi! Having family moments is very important in our home. We love spending time together, and Christmas is the perfect time for traditions and fun. Every year, we decorate cookies for Santa and leave them under the tree on December 24. Our daughters love doing it and eating the glaze, and we enjoy watching them laugh as we decorate a few cookies. Those are the special moments in life that make it special, and to remember them, I always take a few photos. For this layout, I used the Merry Mingle collection by Bella Blvd.
This week's assignment was to use the Merry Mingle collection and a cut-out. I selected the "Santa" title and paired it with the puffy alphas from the Bella Besties Luna Puffy Alphabet. I backed the title with the blue patterned paper and used foam tape to give it dimension.
To mat the photos, I used the black polka dot paper and arranged them in a piece of pink paper. Behind the title, I used the green paper with the trees to give the title and anchoring place.
On top of the photos, I made a little cluster. To create the tags, I used the yellow and the pink patterned papers and cut two reinforcers in contrasting colors to make them cuter and pass the thread. Then, I added the other elements from the puffy stickers, epoxy stickers, Bella Pops, and the ephemera die cuts.
On the right side of the photos, I made a second cluster using the Santa from the ephemera die cuts, the house from the chipboard stickers, and the other elements from the puffy stickers and word ephemera.
In the lower left corner of the photos, I added other die cuts to create a visual triangle of embellishments to help the viewer move around the layout. Then, I added the light bulbs die cut to the "Santa" die cut and finished the "a" with puffy hearts.
To finish the layout, I added a few enamel dots from My Life 365 collection around the clusters and matted the layout with the candy cane paper.
It was fun creating this layout and remembering all those moments together! Thank you for your visit. I hope you like this layout as much as I did, and it inspires you to craft. Please, come back soon for more inspiration.
