Hi! I'm thrilled to share my latest layout created with the gorgeous Pink Lemonade collection by Simple Stories. Working with this collection brought me happiness and joy. The beautiful color palette and the variety of designs make this collection versatile and perfect to document all themes throughout the year.
As a paper lover, I wanted to use as much paper as possible in the layout. On the left side, you can find two papers from the collection, the pink and the mint checkered. The red gingham strip is a border sticker, and the blush strip is from the Color Vibe cardstocks. Behind the photos, you can find a red gingham paper from the 6" x 8" pad and the yellow dotted paper. I used those papers together to create contrast in the area and help the photos stand out in the layout. On the right side of the photos, I used three more patterned papers: the polka dot red, the white floral, and the green checkered. This time, I used them horizontally and notched the edges to create movement and interest.
For the title, I used one of the foam stickers with black font to help it stand out among all the colors in the layout. Since my daughter was wearing a black jacket, it works even better. As a sub-title I added the "Sweet Moments" sticker to cover some of the yellow paper.
Behind the photos, I added two tags from the collection to anchor the title and to use the thread for additional texture in the page. Then, I embellished the area with florals and butterflies from the die cuts and stickers.
To balance the layout, I made a second cluster on the left side of the photos. I repeated the same embellishments, and while making the page pretty, I also covered some empty space on the photos.
The third cluster was made in the bottom corner. There, I used a chipboard camera and embellished it with the lemons from the foam stickers, some floral die cuts, and a butterfly.
The last detail was the decorative brads and enamel dots from the Pink Lemonade collection. I love using them in my layouts since they add the perfect touch.
