Memories at the Park Layout

Hi! Hope you are having a good day. I'm very happy to share with you a double layout I created with the new Say Cheese Happiest Place collection by Simple Stories. I'm a huge fan of all the Say Cheese collections, and I don't know how, but every time they release one, it's better than the previous one. Always with a fresh design and color palette.

After checking all the papers, I selected two for the background: the mint with Mickey and the navy with Minnie. I was not able to choose between them, so I decided to use both and create a double spread. In the central part of both layouts, I added a piece of the Journal Elements paper with the colorful designs. Using this paper on both sides helps me create a cohesive spread. Then, I added a few pieces of paper to create contrast and balance in between the pages.

On the left side, I used a big piece of the Basics yellow paper. This helps me showcase the photos. The yellow color is visible on Minnie's flower on the right side, and by adding it to the left, I was able to balance the spread.

On the right side, I used the red patterned paper to anchor the photos and used a portion of it on the left side. Having the same papers in both layouts is a great way to make the layout cohesive, no matter whether the background papers are different.

The first part of the title is on the left side. There you can find the word "Memories" from the foam stickers. To enhance it, I created a floral cluster on the left and around the word.

Also on the left layout, I used a chipboard floral cluster in the bottom corner of the photos to balance the page and help those photos stand out.

Near Mickey, I added a few stars and embellishments. Adding those small details is something I enjoy doing in my projects.

In the right layout, you can find the other part of the title. There, I used the "at the Park!" foam sticker and created a cluster around it using die cuts and foam stickers.

Since my daughter was enjoying a "churro", I needed to create a snacks cluster in the photo. I used stickers and die cuts there with the "Here for the food!" phrase. I love how cute it looks. Then, I was looking for something to add in the navy area since it was looking empty. After trying different things, I chose the filmstrip and ticket die cuts, the camera sticker, and a few flowers.

To finish the layout, I added a few decorative brads in the center of the flowers and near some photos.  Then, I finished the clusters with some glitter enamel dots. If you enjoy watching reels, visit my Instagram @SimplyRebecaRuiz to see how I created these layouts and how pretty it turned out.

These are individual photos of the layout to help you see all the details.

Thank you very much for your visit. I hope you like and enjoy these layouts, and they inspire you to craft. Please, come back soon for more inspiration!
