You Sparkle Layout

Hi! Today I'm sharing a layout I designed using the stunning Simple Vintage Fresh Snow collection by Simple Stories. This is a layout full of layers and details where I mixed patterned papers and embellishments to document this photo of my daughter. I started this layout by decorating the photo with the oval chipboard frame from the Simple Vintage Fresh Snow collection. It's a beautiful frame with white florals on the right side that will make the photo stand out in the layout.  Then, I selected two patterned papers for the top of the layout and tore their edges. In the middle of the page, I used small pieces of other patterned papers from the collection to create layers and interest by mixing designs and colors.

For the title, I used the die cut "You" and the foam sticker "Sparkle". To give it an anchoring place, I used one piece of die cut ephemera that has a stack of labels, giving the appearance of a cluster.

On the right side of the frame, I added two white flowers, a branch of leaves, and a branch of khaki berries to create a cluster that will enhance the photo.

Around the layout I added snowflakes from the foam stickers, die cuts, chipboards, and cardstock stickers. To hold the two strips of paper together, I tied white crochet thread around them.

To balance the colors on the layout, I added a khaki reindeer from the rub-ons to the lower corner. I love how cute it is! For the final touches, I added a few glitter enamel dots and decorative brads from the Simple Vintage Fresh Snow collection and some brown paint splatters.

I had lots of fun creating this layout and playing with all the amazing products in this collection. The colors and designs are simply amazing, and I can't wait to create more pages with it! Now, take a look at the process video to watch me creating this layout.
