Hi! I'm sharing another layout I created with the Softball Simple Set by Simple Stories. This is a small kit that includes six papers, two of each design and a 12" x 12" sheet of stickers. The designs in the set are very cute and a coordinating Page Pieces die cut pack is available to document your Softball memories, like I did.
For the title I used the "Softball" word from the stickers sheet. I added foam tape behind to give it dimension. Then, on the sides I made little clusters of cute items related to the sport, all from the Softball Simple Set and Page Pieces Die Cuts.
A white cardstock was used as the base of this layout, mated with a black Color Vibe cardstock. To create the photo grid, I printed my photos with a white border, then mat each of them with the black paper in the set. Finally, I place the four photos on a big piece of the paper with color stripes.
Once the photos were ready, I added a few contrasting pieces of patterned paper to the layout. On the top and bottom area of the photos, I used the blue paper with the yellow balls. In the middle of the page, I added a strip of the off-white paper with the red hearts.
To separate this paper from the background cardstock, I added a strip of the black paper to the top and a scalloped border sticker to the bottom. After all the papers were added to the layout, I stitched a black border using the sewing machine.
In the photo area, I added a few word stickers and two hearts. Then, to make the layout playful, I added a ball to the right upper corner, giving the impression that it was hit by the bat in the bottom left corner.
Finally, a few stars were added near the cluster areas.
Here is the full layout, so you can take a better look at it.
Thank you so much for your visit. I hope you like this layout, and it inspires you to craft. Have a wonderful day and come back soon for more inspiration.
