Happy Fall Layout

Hi! I love the beautiful colors of Autumn, but sadly, I live on a Caribbean Island where we don't have them, since it's basically Summer all year. On a recent trip to Utah, we had the opportunity to enjoy the colors of Fall. They are stunning, even prettier in person. You can imagine how happy I was to finally have photos of us with those colors, so I can scrapbook about the season. For this layout I'm sharing today, I used the beautiful One Fall Day collection by Bella Blvd

Something I like about this collection, is the hint of blues and pink in the color palette. My daughter loves to wear pink, so having this color in the collection makes it easier for me to document those memories.

I started this layout by adding green paint to the background using Distress Ink Peeled Paint diluted in water. Then, I cut four pieces of patterned paper and placed them on the top and bottom of the layout. I distressed the edges of the papers for texture. Then, in the middle area of the page, I used a piece of the transparency available in the collection and two strips of paper in red and pink to give the photos an anchoring placement.

To help the photos stand out in the layout, I matted them using orange striped paper. Now that the main pieces are ready, let's embellish this layout. For that I used the die cuts and stickers from One Fall Day collection. They are super cute and since they coordinate with the collection, it is easy to use them to create clusters.

Above the photos, I added a tag and a few leaves to enhance the title. On the left side, I used a green tab and a teal "today" word to balance this color on the layout.

Below the photos I made another cluster using a die cut tree and the beautiful fox from the Bella Pops. Then, to make it look more realistic, I added little leaves in different colors using the epoxy and puffy stickers.

The third cluster is on the right side of the layout, creating a visual triangle. There, I used pumpkins and leaves. If you enjoy process videos, visit my Instagram @SimplyRebecaRuiz to see a reel of how I created this layout.

Thank you so much for your visit. I hope you like and enjoy this layout, and it inspires you to craft. Please, come back soon for more inspiration. Enjoy your day!
