After choosing and matting the photos, I arranged them in the center of the layout to make them the focus of the page. Behind the photos, I added patterned paper to create the background. For contrast, I used a striped, orange paper since it is bright and will help the photos pop. Then, on the left side, I used a vertical piece of the paper with words, and to balance the layout, I added two tags to the top right edge. There, I made a cluster using phrases, heart, and flowers from the Love Grows Here collection.
Sister Love Layout

Hi! Today's layout is very special for me since it is about the everyday moments that are really special and important in life. Seeing my daughters having fun together always makes my heart happy and filled with joy and gratitude. To preserve those moments, I tried to capture them in photos, and this time, I'm sharing a layout I created for them using the gorgeous Love Grows Here collection by Bella Blvd.
For the title, I used the "sister" word from the Ephemera Words pack. I backed it with foam tape for dimension. To make the layout more fun and colorful, I added a few more pieces of patterned paper. Behind the photos, you can find two strips of paper, one is the colorful stripe, and the other is the pink hearts. I notched the right edge of them for movement and interest.
On the right side of the paper with words, I added a thin strip of teal paper. This one was part of the cut-apart paper, then on its right, I added the pink scalloped border. In between the photos is the other part of the title, created and embellished with die cuts from the Ephemera packs.
Once the main pieces of the layout were ready, I added a few more embellishments like the flower corner in the biggest photo. On top of some of the flowers, I placed the epoxy florals in the same color and size to make it more interesting and cuter. Also, I added a Bella Pop bowl of fruit on the right, since they were playing pretend cooking.
When creating my layouts, I love to use all the products available in the collection since they are made of different materials. By mixing them, I add texture and interest to my layouts quickly without worrying if they coordinate or not.
