How are you? Hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm here today to share with you a layout I made for my daughter. In 2018 we went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida and while we were in Animal Kingdom she asked to use the camera to take photos of the birds while walking the trail. I took those photos using my phone and I love them, they capture her personality and her adventurous spirit, always willing to learn.
I backed the camera cut file using papers from Simple Stories Good Vibes, Color Vibes Bold, Carpe Diem and Springtime.
I was planning on using the Good Vibes collection to create the layout but the papers are so busy that the camera cut file gets lost in them, so I started searching in my papers and found those pink and white papers that coordinates perfectly, they are from the Everyday Moments collection by Elle's Studio.
To add some texture and more interest to the layout, I distressed the edges of the white paper and machine stitched around it using black thread.
Since the camera cut file was backed with a black paper, I added some black details to the page like the thread, the apron lace border on top of the photo which was made using a Fiskars edge punch and the enamel border and hearts from the American Crafts Adorable Thickers.
For the title I used a die cut word from Dear Lizzy and stickers from My Mind's Eye Now & Then Milo Documented pack. The blue scalloped border on the edge of the white paper was made using a Stampin' Up edge punch and the paper is from Carpe Diem collection by Simple Stories.
To add another touch to the layout I did a little bit of black paint splatters in two of the corners using Apple Barrel acrylic paint diluted in water.
In the center of the camera cut file I used a sticker from Dear Lizzy, I don't know the collection name because it was not printed in the package. To embellish the layout I used a chipboard flower and some die cuts from the Good Vibes collection by Simple Stories and stickers from the Paige Evans and Maggie Holmes stickers books by American Crafts.
As you can see, I used products from many different companies to create this layout and I love how it turned out, it was like making my own kit. It was not the initial intention but was what happened during the process and I deal with it and love so much how the layout turns out. It's a very happy and colorful layout, perfect to represent my girl!
Thank you for visiting my blog, hope my work inspires you to create!
