Christmas Cards Part 2

Hi!

How are you? I'm back today to share with you the last three Christmas cards I prepared for Miss Kate Designs. Yesterday I shared the first three, if you haven't seen them, check my previous post. As I mentioned yesterday, me doing Christmas cards after all these years is a miracle, but I'm so happy I made them, that maybe soon I'll share a few more cards, I feel pumped. Do you like making your cards? Are you getting ready for Christmas?

To create these cards, I used products from Miss Kate Designs. If you want to see a short video of the products, click on them:

Other products I used are:
  • Cardstock (white, red, and black)
  • Corner rounder punch
  • Scallop edge punch
  • Sewing machine and white thread
  • Ribbons
  • Twine
  • Sentiment stamps
  • Embossing powder in black and white
  • Embossing ink and heat gun
  • Trimmer
  • Rhinestones
  • Stickle in Star Dust
  • Glitter and transparency for the shaker
  • Foam Adhesive, glue, tape runner, and trimmer

I prepared six cards in total, in this post I'm sharing the last three, but I still have a lot of materials to make more projects. The 6" x 6" paper pack includes 64 sheets of paper: 16 different designs; 4 sheets of each design. Also, the die cut packs are a great deal and have lots of beautiful designs. Now, let me show you these beauties!

Merry Christmas Snowglobe Shaker Card

This card is 5" x 5" when closed, and opens upwards. I used the papers from Oh What Fun and die cuts from Deck the Halls and Santa Claus. I made a shaker with the snow globe die cut and embellished it using rhinestones and a red bow. For the papers, I rounded two opposite corners and glued all of them to the red cardstock to stitch them before adding them to the white cardstock. This way, the interior of the card is clean. Since the shaker is the center of attention in this card, I just used papers and maintained the embellishments to a minimum, only using them to enhance the sentiment. This is a clean card, but I love how cute it is. What do you think? Sometimes less is better!

Merry, Merry, Merry Card

This card is size 5" x 5" when closed and it opens towards the side. For this card I used the Deck the Halls papers and Santa Claus die cuts. I rounded the two left side corners of all the papers and the white card. Then, I added the papers to the black cardstock and I added the ribbon to the back of the black cardstock, then I added everything to the white card. To decorate the card, I used a big die cut and used foam adhesive to add it to the card. For the sentiment, I stamped it in red cardstock using white embossing powder and matted it on black cardstock. Between the cardstocks, I used foam adhesive to add dimension. Then, I decorated it with a die cut.

Merry Christmas (Santa holding board) Card

This card is size A2 (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") when closed and it opens upwards. I cut the papers (red and white snowflakes) and the scalloped border using yellow cardstock.  The banner was decorated with twine. Then, I added all the papers on top of the penguins paper and machine stitched around them. After that, I added all the papers to the white card and decorated with the die cuts. One of the tress is flat and the tree on top has foam adhesive in the back.

That all for the moment. I'm working on other Christmas projects I'll be sharing with you soon. Thanks for staying with me, if you have any questions, just let me know by leaving a comment and I will answer as soon as I can. Stay safe, and I hope these cards inspire you to craft!
