This is a happy and fun layout I made for my daughter using some photos I took of her dressed as Santa's helper before going to the school party. She loves dressing up and using props.

This photo is from a few years ago, while waiting for our family photo with Santa, I took some photos of her since the area was so beautifully decorated. 
Hello! Every year, during the Christmas season, most of the town squares in Puerto Rico are decorated. For this layout, I'm using a photo of my hometown, Isabela, from 2021. I try to photograph it every year, but this is the first time I made a layout of it. To create this page, I used the beautiful December Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.
Hello! The December Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook includes a mix of patterned papers. This polka dot red paper by Memory-Place is one of them. I wasn't sure what to do with it since it has a beige wreath around it, but I knew I will not leave it as a whole piece, so I started by cutting around the beige wreath. Once I have it, I noticed it looked like a snow globe. After that, I knew what to do and this is the result!
Hello! During Christmas day, I always sit in front of my daughters to photograph them while they open their presents. I love capturing those memories and seeing the photos and videos later on. During 2018, Santa brought my little one a Minnie Mouse phone and she loved it! She started talking and pressing the buttons. When searching for photos to create a layout with the gorgeous Boho Christmas collection by Simple Stories, I found them and knew they will be a perfect match!

Every year we decorate some cookies for Santa. Sometimes we bake the cookies and other times we buy a kit of cookies and glaze; the important thing is my girls have fun decorating and I can take photos of them! Last year, after returning from Disney we got Covid, it was harder on my little one, so we ordered a kit of cookies, and she was able to decorate them and eat the glaze. She was so happy, despite how bad she was feeling. I took a few photos and now I'm documenting those memories with the beautiful November Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.

This month, My Creative Scrapbook Main kit is featuring Sugarplum Wishes by Paige Evans. This collection is very colorful with pinks, blues, and other bright colors which makes it perfect for kid's photos and also for fun and colorful Christmas photos like the ones I used in this layout. While we were walking on a bridge in Animal Kingdom, we saw Santa on the boat and took a few photos of him. It was a nice surprise, and this beautiful kit helped me document that memory.
Hi! Are you a Christmas lover like me? Oh, this is my favorite season and here in Puerto Rico we start Christmas immediately after Halloween and end it by the end of January. We are known for having the longest Christmas in the world. I love the colors of the season, the smells, the happiness in the people, families reunited again to celebrate, the delicious food, and having time to enjoy with family are some of the things I like the most about Christmas. The best way to document this is by scrapbooking some of those memories. Every year we take a family photo, in the past we used to only do a family photo with Santa but three years ago we started going to a studio during Christmas for a Holiday family session and we love it! Now we can have very nice professional photos, like this one that is not a traditional photo since my little daughter was not posing but instead, she was hugging her sister. Isn't it cute? Every time I see this photo I smile and thank God for my family. For me, this is what Christmas is about! Ok, that's enough about Christmas, let's talk about this layout.

After many years without teaching a scrapbooking class, I returned in October with a layouts class, and it was a success! Now, I'll be teaching a gorgeous 6" x 8" mini album class. It has many pages, and I'll be using mine as a December Daily. It is full of beautiful details, interactive elements, and enough space to hold 75+ photos. This class will be available in two modalities: in person on November 11, 2023, in Isabela, Puerto Rico or you can buy the Kit "To Go" in case you can't attend. It can be shipped to Puerto Rico and USA. Shipping charges are not included in the price and will begin shipping on November 14.
The in-person class will be taught in Spanish in a comfortable, air-conditioned room, includes lunch, snacks, and photo area.

Hello! Are you a Halloween lover? Today's layout is all about Halloween using the new "FABOOLOUS" collection by Simple Stories. I'm not a Halloween person, but a friend of mine is, so I asked her for some photos of her granddaughter to design a layout. She shares with me photos of this beautiful girl, from two different years, so I made two pages and here is the first one titled "Boo, Spooky Not". It was fun doing this layout and playing with all the beautiful embellishments available. It was hard for me to choose since the collection have so many cute die cuts, chipboards and stickers. Hi! Hope you are having a great day! I'm very happy to share with you this layout I made for my daughters and was published in the Fall issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. You can find it on page 64. Last year, I ordered a few custom handmade earrings for them. When the package arrived, they were so happy that I took a few photos of them modeling their new earrings. In the photos the youngest one is modeling a milk container and a bowl of fruit rings cereal, and the teenager is modeling a piece of bread and a cup of coffee. Those are things they love, and the earrings are amazing! But let me get back to the layout and tell you how I made it.

My daughter loves trying new recipes and I try to photograph those moments to document them. This layout is about a day she was making a lemon merengue pie. By the way, it was "Yummy". The wide range of colors in What's Cookin'? makes it easy to document moments like this in a fun and beautiful way.

Hello! I was making a layout using the What's Cookin'? collection by
Simple Stories, but had this piece of floral paper looking at me, so I decided
to use it right away. This paper is gorgeous, I could happily have at least 10
sheets of it. Last month, I made a layout with this collection and used the
back side of this paper which is also gorgeous with small flowers. That time, I
secured the big floral part of the paper by cutting it diagonally without
damaging the floral design on it. Now it is time to use it, so let's talk about
how I made this page.

As you may have noticed, these are not the colors I usually work with, but I challenged myself to use them in a layout and this is the result. I was surprised with how pretty and cool it looks with those photos of my girls in Universal Studios talking with the Knight Bus driver in the Harry Potter area of the park. It was a fun layout to make, and I recorded the process in case you want to see how I made it.

Hello! My daughter was a senior last year, and this layout is about her last back to school day. It was a day of so many emotions for her and for us, but we are enjoying every moment. In this layout, I used products from Simple Stories School Life collection. It is an old collection I had in my stash, and it works perfectly with the red senior's shirt.

Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful day! A few years ago we went glamping and today I'm sharing a layout of that adventure using the "Trail Mix" collection by Simple Stories. This collection is versatile and beautiful, the main focus of Trail Mix is outdoor activities, but if you don't have those kinds of photos, you can use it too! The title for this layout is "Glamping Adventure". In this layout, I used the patterned papers to create the background with strips of paper. I cut some of them straight and others diagonally. For more interest, I used paper strips of different widths and secured them with a stitched border around the layout.

Hi! My daughter is always making funny faces for the camera, she enjoys doing this so much that sometimes we join her. This layout is about some of these photos with daddy while waiting in a restaurant. I love how happy and funny they look so I had to scrapbook them. To create this layout, I used the new Color Vibes Woods and Boho collections by Simple Stories. It was a challenge to create a layout without patterned papers as I usually do, but it was fun, and I love how the photos match perfectly with the colors and stand out in the page.
