The Wand Chooses The Wizard Layuot

Hello! Last year we visited Universal Studios, it's a favorite destination for our family so when I see something related to it, I usually buy it like this beautiful cutfile I found on Etsy from Scap4DayzDesigns. I had this design already cut and was working with the Echo Park Paper Wizard & Witches collections so I decided to back it and create a layout of my little daughter using her wand for the first time. She was thrilled with the experience and I'm very happy to be able to document those memories through my scrapbooks.

It's My Bday! Layout

Hello! A few weeks ago, I made a layout using the Birthday Simple Set by Simple Stories and after finishing it, I started a second layout but left it unfinished until last week when I took some to add a few more embellishments and called it done. This time, I'm using photos of my little daughter from last year's birthday. I love the expressions in the photos and with this mini collection I was able to document those moments in a fun and beautiful way.

Happy Day Double Spread Layout

Hello! I've been very busy lately and forgot to share with you these layouts I made and were published in the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. My layout was featured on page 66. It's a double spread using products from Echo Park Paper to document our visit to Universal Studios last year to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday and high school graduation. You Sparkle Layout!

Hello! Today I have another 8 1/2" x 11" layout to share with you. This was the layout I submitted for the cover of the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Scrapbooks and Cards Today Magazine. They invited three people to create a layout, and then they choose one to be in the cover and featured the other two layouts in the magazine. My layout didn't make it into the cover, but just by being invited and considered for it was an honor. You can imagine how happy and thrilled I was by receiving the invitation, wow! With no more furthers, here is my submission for the cover. I was provided with the adorable photo, the journaling and the title. If you want to see the magazine it is available i their website and you can download the digital version for free or subscribe to the printed version.

HBD! Layout

Hello! I usually scrapbook 12" x 12" layouts, but today I want to share with you an 8 1/2" x 11" layout I designed. The story behind this page is that I was invited to create a layout to be considered for the cover of the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. I was thrilled with the invitation and couldn't decide what products to use, so I made two different layouts. This is the first one I designed, but not the one I submitted. Since I didn't use it, I made a few changes to repurpose this page because I love it and don't want to waste the products. I changed the photo, the journaling, and the title to document a photo of my daughter who recently had her birthday!

Vacation Layout

Hi! Summer is around the corner, so let's have fun with the new Just Beachy collection by Simple Stories. I love everything about this collection. The colors are very bright and pretty and it has so many different themes that you can document all your summer memories with only this collection. From beach and pool photos to vacations, getaways, road trips, and more. For this layout, I wanted to document an old photo from us on Disney Blizzard Beach, but I also wanted to use the beautiful paper with the big floral cluster on the corner. After having those two elements ready, I started creating my idea and this is the result. If you want to know how I made this layout, stay with me during this post and check the close-up photos. 

Sweet Love Layout

Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm very happy to share with you my latest layout, using the stunning Simple Vintage Color Essentials collection by Simple Stories. If you don't know about this collection, you need to check it out. This is a big collection with three different paper packs and lots of embellishments from die cuts, stickers, rub-ons, chipboards, and more! The best part is you can use it alone or use it to complement any other collection since it has all the colors of the rainbow. For this layout, I chose four colors to work with. The red since my daughter was wearing a big red flower on her head, the yellow since the shirt and flower have some yellow, and the blue and black to match the shirt. Let's take a closer look at the layout while I explain how I made it.

Tropical Vibes Layout

Hello crafty friend! I'm very happy to share this colorful and fun layout I designed using the Just Beachy collection by Simple Stories. This collection is so amazing that I don't want to stop using it. The vibrant and beautiful colors, and all the fun embellishments make it a must have for every scrapbooker. It is perfect to document all your summer memories at the beach, pool, vacations, road trips, and anything you can imagine. Every little detail in this collection is wonderful, so I ended up using many different embellishments. As you can see, it was hard to stop adding them to the page! Now, let's talk about the layout and how I made it. 

Love Being Your Mom Layout

Yesterday was Mother's Day and I wanted to scrapbook, but I was not able to do it, so today, I woke up early and took some time to create this layout I'm sharing titled "Love Being Your Mom". To create this layout, I used the Mother's Day Simple Set by Simple Stories. This is a mini kit with six patterned papers (2 of each design) and a 12" x 12" sticker sheet. It is a beautiful kit and I definitely wanted to use this to document a few photos of me and my daughters.
