Hello! Last year we visited Universal Studios, it's a favorite destination for our family so when I see something related to it, I usually buy it like this beautiful cutfile I found on Etsy from Scap4DayzDesigns. I had this design already cut and was working with the Echo Park Paper Wizard & Witches collections so I decided to back it and create a layout of my little daughter using her wand for the first time. She was thrilled with the experience and I'm very happy to be able to document those memories through my scrapbooks.
This time, I did something different, I used a dark green background instead of a white cardstock. It took me some time to accept the paper but I did since it was the best way to let the cut file stand out.
After backing the cut file with patterned papers, I started playing with the photos to find a placement for them. After a few minutes, I decided to have them on top of the cut file and used patterned papers to mat them. As you can see, I use two different contrasting papers to create interest on the photos. Once they were ready, I cut a navy frame in half and place them on the sides of the photos. Then, I added a few stickers and die cuts from the Wizard & Witches collections. As an additional detail, I used enamel dots and chipboard stars from the Winter Color Vibes collection.
On the cut file area, I added a few stickers to balance the layout and to create a second cluster.
Finally on the left side of the cut file, I added a few strips of distressed paper and a few embellishments to complete the third cluster and a visual triangle.
This was a quick layout to complete once the cut file was backed. Since it occupies most of the layout space, only a few embellishments were needed to finish the page. Thank you so much for your visit. I hope you like and enjoy this layout, and it inspires you to craft! Come back soon for more inspiration!
