Christmas Magic Layout

When creating a layout, I usually use three or more patterned papers, but this time I only used one as my base. The paper with the snow globe in the Santa's Village collection by Simple Stories is so beautiful, that only a few embellishments were needed to create a scene that will enhance the photo in a fun and beautiful way.

Sometimes it is hard to choose only one or two papers to create a layout, so why not use a lot of them? For this layout, I used 8 different patterned papers from the Simple Vintage Holly Jolly collection by Simple Stories. Papers are my favorite scrapbook product, and using lots of them in a project is something I enjoy, especially when they are so pretty like the ones in this collection. Hello! I'm very happy to share with you my first Christmas layout using the gorgeous Santa's Village collection by Simple Stories. This is my favorite season of the year, and Santa's Village is perfect to document it! I fell in love with this collection when I saw it online, but when I had it in my hands it was even prettier. The happy colors, the cute images of Santa, Mrs. Claus and some of their friends, instantly put a smile in my face, they are adorable! Hello! Using florals in my projects is something that I love and the Cider & Donuts collection by Simple Stories have the most gorgeous flowers and color palette to document Fall. It's beautiful and working with it was so much fun! The color palette and the cute vintage designs makes the process of creating an easy one. Hello! In my previous post I mentioned a second layout I created with the beautiful Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection by Simple Stories, and today I'm sharing it with you. It's a very fun and colorful layout I made for my daughter, to document that special moment of her meeting Mickey in his magician clothes. With this layout, I want to showcase her happiness, and this is the perfect collection for that. I used a lot of different patterned papers from the collection to create the rays on the background and to mat the photo and I love how they look on the page. Hello crafty friend! Today I’m sharing with you my first layout using the Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection by Simple Stories. Since Fall already started, it's time to document it with this amazing collection. I'm a lover of having florals in my projects. Once I start adding flowers to my layouts, I can't stop as you can see in this page. The color palette in the Cider & Donuts are so pretty that I wanted to display all of them in my page and I accomplished it by using various patterned papers and lots of florals. Having some family time is always good but having it at Disney World is even better! This layout I'm sharing with you today is about our first visit to Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. We had so much fun because we are fans of Star Wars (especially my husband), and my nephew who joined us is also a fan. Creating layouts to document our Disney memories is one of my favorite themes to scrapbook. It always brings so much happiness and good memories that I can scrapbook for hours and hours. Today I'm sharing with you another layout I made with the beautiful Say Cheese Tinseltown collection by Simple Stories. I love the variety of designs in this collection and how cute they are. Hello! Photos of my family while riding roller coasters are always hilarious. Just looking at them makes me smile and want to go back to the magical place to have some amazing family time. When I saw the fantastic Say Cheese Tinseltown collection by Simple Stories I started looking into our photos at Hollywood Studios. When I found this one, I was immediately inspired. They are perfect together. This is a great collection with happy colors and gorgeous designs that makes the work of documenting those memories very easy. Hello! After finishing the "Galaxy Hero" layout I shared in a previous post, I had some black/gray triangles on my desk, and I started arranging them until I found a placement I liked. This idea came pretty fast to me, and I didn't want to let it pass so I printed a photo and created the "Space Wars" layout I'm sharing with you today using the Say Cheese collection by Simple Stories.

Hello!  Have you seen the new collections Simple Stories released? I'm in love with all the additions to the Say Cheese line. They are all fantastic and today I'm sharing a layout I made using the Say Cheese Galaxy collection. I had so much fun working with this collection that after finishing the "Galaxy Hero" layout, I made a second page using the triangles I removed from the black paper. Hi! Recently we visited Café Tres Picachos in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. It was a beautiful place with lots of nature and nice places to take photos. As a scrapbooker you can imagine I didn't miss the opportunity. The photos I'm using in this layout were taken there and they work so well with this collection that I'm in love! A few days ago, I was using the Simple Vintage Linen Market collection by Simple Stories to create a layout and it is so gorgeous that I continued working with it and made this double layout I'm sharing with you today. Lately they are designing papers that work perfectly for double layouts since one has a design on the left and the other on the right, making our creative process easier. Last week I was working with the "Crafty Things" collection by Simple Stories and after creating a layout with it I didn't want to stop using the collection, so I made a second one and today I'm sharing it with you. Hi! Disney is one of our favorite destinations for family vacations. We love visiting the parks and all the magic there so when I saw the new Say Cheese Magic collection by Simple Stories, I was super excited. This new addition to the Say Cheese line is M-A-G-I-C-A-L! All the papers are gorgeous and this time, they added a hint of pink to make them even prettier! Today, I'm very happy to share with you my first layout using the Say Cheese Magic collection. Hello! Today, and I'm very happy to share a layout I designed with the gorgeous Crafty Things collection by Simple Stories. This is a new collection, and you must check it out before it is sold out. This is a fun and pretty collection, perfect to document all our crafty stories including the shopping experience! To make it even prettier, many of the embellishments have gold foil details. It's just fabulous! 

The Wand Chooses The Wizard Layuot

Hello! Last year we visited Universal Studios, it's a favorite destination for our family so when I see something related to it, I usually buy it like this beautiful cutfile I found on Etsy from Scap4DayzDesigns. I had this design already cut and was working with the Echo Park Paper Wizard & Witches collections so I decided to back it and create a layout of my little daughter using her wand for the first time. She was thrilled with the experience and I'm very happy to be able to document those memories through my scrapbooks.

It's My Bday! Layout

Hello! A few weeks ago, I made a layout using the Birthday Simple Set by Simple Stories and after finishing it, I started a second layout but left it unfinished until last week when I took some to add a few more embellishments and called it done. This time, I'm using photos of my little daughter from last year's birthday. I love the expressions in the photos and with this mini collection I was able to document those moments in a fun and beautiful way.

You Sparkle Layout!

Hello! Today I have another 8 1/2" x 11" layout to share with you. This was the layout I submitted for the cover of the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Scrapbooks and Cards Today Magazine. They invited three people to create a layout, and then they choose one to be in the cover and featured the other two layouts in the magazine. My layout didn't make it into the cover, but just by being invited and considered for it was an honor. You can imagine how happy and thrilled I was by receiving the invitation, wow! With no more furthers, here is my submission for the cover. I was provided with the adorable photo, the journaling and the title. HBD! Layout

Hello! I usually scrapbook 12" x 12" layouts, but today I want to share with you an 8 1/2" x 11" layout I designed. The story behind this page is that I was invited to create a layout to be considered for the cover of the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. I was thrilled with the invitation and couldn't decide what products to use, so I made two different layouts. This is the first one I designed, but not the one I submitted. Since I didn't use it, I made a few changes to repurpose this page because I love it and don't want to waste the products. I changed the photo, the journaling, and the title to document a photo of my daughter who recently had her birthday!

Hi! Summer is around the corner, so let's have fun with the new Just Beachy collection by Simple Stories. I love everything about this collection. The colors are very bright and pretty and it has so many different themes that you can document all your summer memories with only this collection. From beach and pool photos to vacations, getaways, road trips, and more. For this layout, I wanted to document an old photo from us on Disney Blizzard Beach, but I also wanted to use the beautiful paper with the big floral cluster on the corner. Sweet Love Layout

Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm very happy to share with you my latest layout, using the stunning Simple Vintage Color Essentials collection by Simple Stories. If you don't know about this collection, you need to check it out. This is a big collection with three different paper packs and lots of embellishments from die cuts, stickers, rub-ons, chipboards, and more! The best part is you can use it alone or use it to complement any other collection since it has all the colors of the rainbow. For this layout, I chose four colors to work with. The red since my daughter was wearing a big red flower on her head, the yellow since the shirt and flower have some yellow, and the blue and black to match the shirt. Let's take a closer look at the layout while I explain how I made it.

Hello crafty friend! I'm very happy to share this colorful and fun layout I designed using the Just Beachy collection by Simple Stories. This collection is so amazing that I don't want to stop using it. The vibrant and beautiful colors, and all the fun embellishments make it a must have for every scrapbooker. It is perfect to document all your summer memories at the beach, pool, vacations, road trips, and anything you can imagine. Every little detail in this collection is wonderful, so I ended up using many different embellishments. As you can see, it was hard to stop adding them to the page! Yesterday was Mother's Day and I wanted to scrapbook, but I was not able to do it, so today, I woke up early and took some time to create this layout I'm sharing titled "Love Being Your Mom". To create this layout, I used the Mother's Day Simple Set by Simple Stories. This is a mini kit with six patterned papers (2 of each design) and a 12" x 12" sticker sheet. It is a beautiful kit and I definitely wanted to use this to document a few photos of me and my daughters. Every scrapbook page tells a story helping us document those special moments in our lives or the lives of our loved ones. In this layout I'm sharing today, my daughter was wearing her Flight Suit for the first time in the Space Camp she attended in October 2023. It was a special day for her since she is a science and NASA lover. It was an amazing experience and we, as parents, enjoyed it through her eyes. Seeing her happy makes us happier! Hello! I enjoy having lunch with my hubby. Those moments are good for us to talk and have some special time together. When possible, we take at least a selfie of us during those moments. Last December, we went to a restaurant and one of the workers offered to take some pictures of us. She took a few photos, and they are all great. To document these memories, I'm using the amazing Simple Vintage Love Story collection by Simple Stories. I'm in love with this collection, it has all the things I love with an elegant and vintage style. Now, let's talk about how I made this layout.

Winter Wonder Layout

Hello crafty friend!Today I'm sharing a wintery and happy layout. For this page, I used the gorgeous Winter Wonder collection by Simple Stories. I live on a Caribbean Island where it is summer all year, and I haven't traveled in winter to any place with snow. It is in my bucket list, so hopefully one day I'm going to see snow and I'm going to take lots of photos, but in the meantime, I document this season with photos of the things we love to do in winter.

If you don't have photos in the snow, don't worry because this collection is so amazing that you can use it for other themes since many of the papers have designs not related to winter, and the floral pack is stunning! For this layout I'm using photos of my daughter drinking hot chocolate. This is something she really loves and enjoys, as you can see in the photos.

Having a teenager at home means lots of changes and happy moments. This time I'm documenting my daughter's band camp since she started college last year and was accepted in the band. She loves music and being in this band means a lot to her and we as parents are really proud of her and all she is accomplishing. Do you love fussy cutting? I do, and to create this layout I used the January Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook and fussy cut the circles in one of the papers included. It was easy to cut them since they are big, and I love how they look and let me create my own background design.
